West Wing Season 1 & 2 Box Set [VHS]

Well, with such a positive review for the first half of this season, it would be diffcult not to expect the same for the latter half. And i wasn't let down. In fact, if anything, it gets better. The arcs are now all in play, and the boring character introductions all over with. By now the various relationships and expected interplay and the roles of each character have become second nature, and all thats left is to power on through the growing (in intricacy) plot threads. We are introduced to the threat from White Supremacists, and i fully expected the nail-biting cliffhanger. Phenomenal. I can only assume that the entire series is like this; endlessly gripping, taking a subject i know nothing about and making it so wonderfully accessible, with acting quality that outdoes a lot of movie acting elsewhere. My hat goes off to the various players, but mostly to Aaron Sorkin. The man is a legend.

Series 1 disc one had a crack in the cd making it unusable. I have had to place a second order to replace disc 1 as i cannot buy one disc.

Without a doubt one of the best series I have seen in years: luckily I'm only just into series 2 so there's plenty of enjoyment left for me. The characters are well drawn and the scripts are of such a high quality I'm not surprised it won so many awards back in the States. I had the chance of watching this years back but was dubious because of the subject matter. This show has made a believer of me: if you like solid acting, great scriptwriting and likeable characters you can associate with, this is for you.

Started watching the first part and became addicted.now have Seasons 2 and 3 as well.wish I had bought them new as think I will be watching them several times.

I was disappointed with quality of the DVDs`themselves. The last one just would not play at all just making a loud humming noise and refusing to load. I suppose I was taking a chance buying a used copy but I have bought from zoverstocks before and this is the first time I have ever given them a poor review, Come on lads get your act together!

brilliant drama for enyone interested in american politics martin sheen makes a brilliant president and in my opinion would make an excellent real president well if regan can enyone can
