Mikuni14-2019 Hsr 42Mm Kit Twin W/Mfld

At first I had an issue with the carb. I started a rrturn through Amazon and the seller while not agreeeing with my issues immediately accepted the return and sent a lable. I was even able to speak to the seller on then phone. After speakkng with the manufacture I was able to figure that the issue was all on my end the product was 100%. The seller was great communicated delt with me and my issue was prompt and while in the end no action really needed to be taken by him he was willing and ready tp rectify the issue as requested. The kit is great I build bikes this is for a custom 01 road king for an 88tc mm efi conversion. It looks great my customer was happy with it amd im looking forward to seeing how the swap goes with this kit as i normally do cv carbs and source the parts from vendors. While I cant speak to the operation of the kit as the bike is not 100% finished yet I can speak to the products authenticity, this is absolutely a genuine Mikuni carb and kit i had it verified by the manufacturer. I've been upgrading the engine on my 2000 FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide a little at a time. First I did pipes and air cleaner, adding a Kuryakn Hypercharger and Vance&Hines drag pipes. This spring I added the Mikuni HSR 42 and I'm very impressed! Right out of the box, all I had to do was tweak the idle mixture and speed. Keep in mind I have a stock motor right now. The Mikuni choke cable doesn't like to be pulled out too far, so be mindful of that. Just a eighth of an inch or so work fine for my Twin Cam 88. Many people keep the stock Harley cable.Power rolls right on, throttle response is super crisp, and my mileage improved as well, I'm getting 36 to 40 mpg now.I'll be doing a full S&S cam upgrade this coming year, and it's great to know I'll be able to set up the carb to match without any hassles!Brothers, you won't go wrong!

Went on no issues, tuned easily, and puts out way more H.P. I think this carb had a wider power band than my S&S carb and it was much easier to tune. It even came with the parts needed to tune it without having to buy them.

Modern age carb.... Takes more to tune it, but it can be dialed in for multiple rpm ranges and better fuel economy at constant hwy speeds. So much better than the S&S Super was on my bagger. I still use an S&S, but just on a putter around bike (77 Ironhead chop).99 FLH, 10.5:1 pistons, bored to 90ci, ported heads, S&S 583 gear dr. cams. Getting 40-45 mpg on hwy with this (mtn riding and flats in CO) Best I ever got with tuned S&S was 32-35.

Got a 2000 Harley Davidson that was running good, but not great with an S&S Super G carb. Decided to try the "tried and true" Mikuni HSR42 and cannot be more happy with how my bike runs now. No popping, coughing, sneezing, spitting or any other noises like the S&S made...More than happy with this purchase and I won't run any other carb on my Harleys again...period.

This is a great kit. I used this on a MM EFI to Carb conversion and after my rewire it started right up. No tinkering just start it up and ride. Very Happy :-D
