Well I sure could have used this magnificent hat during the big winter storm we just had but at least I’m prepared for next time. Love it! I have a fairly large head for a female and would say I compare more to a male in that department. This large size hat fits perfectly on me and is very comfortable and warm.

I recently bought a cheap ushanka hat from Walmart--I liked the concept but was disappointed with how it didn't keep my ears warm enough. After careful research, I decided this ushanka hat seemed like the best Amazon choice. Wow, this ushanka hat is way better! It fits great and feels very comfortable, the entire lining is soft, the material is very soft and quality, and it keeps my entire head--including my ears--very warm. I love it, great buy!

Bought 2 of these for me and my husband in black and khaki. We live in the western U.P. and and can get some frigid temps and biting wind. I really liked the concept of this hat with a detachable mask and I received right when the temps plummeted but, unfortunately, the hat fell short for us as we're both having issues. Pros: - loose so hearing not impaired - lightweight - very warm - super soft "fur" - quality appears good Cons: - one size fits all really doesn't. Fits loose on both of us. Perhaps a loose fitting is intended but would prefer the flaps to tighten more under the chin but, even with straps tightened all the way, there's a very large gap under the chin leaving neck exposed. Was hoping this hat would eliminate need for scarf or neck gator but that's not the case. - face mask rendered useless if wearing it snapped. Hat can't be tightened enough so face mask is also very loose and only provides coverage if you don't move your head because as soon as you do the mask creeps up and covers the eyes. Mask fits much better if worn around the ears which I find uncomfortable because then the mask almost feels too tight. I'm now wearing this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FSFYDKJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 under the hat on the really cold days which is providing the face coverage and also covering the exposed area of the neck. - as other reviewers stated, there is no place to store the mask when not in use. - could use a better design for keeping the mask from shifting or offer up different sizes. While I like the hat and the concept I find there are just too many things I don't like and therefore can't justify a 5 star rating. I was hoping to find something that would eliminate things like gator and scarf but something is still needed when it's real cold. I'm now trying to figure out how I can alter the hats with a set of buttons or something that will better hold the mask to the flaps which will keep the mask in place and at the same time pull the flaps up and under the chin. Didn't want to have to alter a $23 hat but had I bought them for the $14 price tag they are at the time of this writing I would have no problem altering. If our noggins were a bit bigger and our faces fuller maybe they'd fit much better. Thought about returning but could end up with same gapping issues under the chin and still need a scarf or gator as I didn't find a lot with a mask included. Perhaps once I alter I can eliminate the scarf and gator.

This has become my favorite winter hat. It’s lightweight, warm and comfortable. It’s perfect for those cold windy nights and icy morning when I have to take my dog out. Easy to wash and air dry

The hat is warm enough, but the fastener position is awkwardly placed, making it difficult to secure the flaps at the neck. Also, the ability of this hat to report moisture is questionable. I found it to be woefully inadequate in this regard. I'm giving it three stars because it does well enough in the warmth area to compensate for the other issues; however, I would not advise wearing this hat in a severe winter storm.

This hat is very comfortable and my husband loves it. I had to buy another one because when my husband went to the emergency room someone stole his hat. I was totally disappointed but my husband said whoever stole it must have needed it more than him . So I bought another one and it came today and my husband is thrilled 😁 because he said it fits his head perfectly. I also love the thickness of the hat and it gives him protection from the sun. Quality is also nice.

Buscaba algo nuevo para este invierno y me pareció bien probar este sombrero para caza. El precio es muy atractivo y realicé mi compra. Tardó unas semanas en llegar pero me sorprendió su calidad y sobre todo la protección que brinda contra el frío, puedes usar las orejeras a rededor de tu cara o subirlas y que se vea como sombrero ruso jejeje. Yo soy talla 7 1/2 en sombrero y me quedó bien el de color negro, a mi hijo también le quedó y es una talla más grande, compré también el de color azul marino y ese vino más pequeño, ese le quedó perfecto a mi esposa, aunque marca unitalla en ambos. Pienso comprar otros más para darlos como regalo en esta temporda.
