For the life of me, I don't understand why this product has gotten so many negative reviews; though, I am guessing it is because people are not fully researching the product to see if their equipment fits, or perhaps they are not purchasing the proper bag to carry and store their detectors. However, I find this bag to be great for carrying and storing my Bounty Hunter TRACKER IV metal detector, along with the headphones and the spare detector coil. It's actually quite roomy and is the perfect length for my detector, and I find the straps inside the bag helpful in securing the detector. I do have to separate the detector into two pieces before storage, but that is not a problem to me. Though it looks thin, the bag is actually padded enough to protect its contents (my metal detector came out without a scratch after a 5+ hour car trip in which we heard it moving around in the trunk from time to time) and it also keeps them protected from the elements. I find it easy to carry as the bag does not tilt to one side, and the extra strap allows you to carry the bag over your shoulder, freeing your hands. I really like the bold white lettering with the bit of blue on the logo; it's stylish, smart, and eye-catching, and shows that you are not up to no good with a long, black canvas bag!

Good bag. Simple, fits the product, and you can store a digging tool, some Ziplocks, and gloves in it (if you take the metal detector on a trip somewhere). I like getting the right bag that goes with my tools right up front, and not "cheaping out" like my Dad does constantly and making due with any ole thing. If you're like me, and plan to store the metal detector properly, go ahead and get it while you're buying the device, and don't think twice.

The bag works great, good quality, but you may have to do a bit of turning and twisting to get your metal detector into the opening. Mine is a Bounty Hunter Time Ranger, and it fits fine, just tight getting it into the opening. Once in, plenty of room. I didn't like the big lettering though...Vinyl lettering that makes it a bit too clear as to what is inside. Other than that, the bag is light in weight and seems quite durable. Has a long strap as well as a handle for carrying. The strap is long enough to go over your shoulder.

While the Tracker IV detector does need to be separated into two pieces, that takes only a few seconds and makes for a nice compact case which then still has room for my digger, pinpointer, headphones and belt-bag. Any bag long enough to hold the detector in assembled length would be much more cumbersome. The bag itself does have light padding and a couple of Velcro straps sewn into the bottom which work well to secure the detector and keep it from rattling around. It is a tight fit lengthwise and the zipper could be more heavy-duty, but overall I’m happy with this bag. It is lightweight, relatively inexpensive and well suited for the Tracker IV and similar detectors.

Not quite as sturdy as I might have liked, but an excellent value that will work just fine. Everything fit in the bag and it both looks good and appears that it will last a long time. I am very pleased with it.

Ok but smaller..probably good for a child size detector. To small for my detectors!

Bought for my Husband to carry his metal detecting equipment. Fits everything in there with room to spare. Nothing got wet. Lightweight, easy to carry. Material shows no sign of tension when carrying.
