Works on Fimco 15 gallon sprayer
I have a VERY old Fimco 15 gallon sprayer that has the "Solar" lid. The model number is long gone. This pump was an exact fit for the bolt holes (4), hose barbs (3/8"), and electrical connector. This is a demand pump which only runs when you squeeze the trigger on the sprayer wand after the initial pressurization of the line. I prefer the demand pump over the pumps that run continuously by using an overflow back into the tank. It does have a rocker switch with a clear plastic cover like the original. I didn't notice the Fimco name on the packaging, but Fimco does use the same "High-Flo" pumps on their new sprayers. I have pumped 50+ gallons through this sprayer, and it has performed flawlessly.Specs:12 volts4 amps35 psi1.0 gpmpump contains internal fan (according to Fimco website)

pump works fine so far, but I give it a 4 cuz of the shipping......this is 2013, and it took 2 weeks to get here !! I owned a body-shop here in town for many of yrs., and most pricing was about the same on parts, it was the service that made the difference ! it's simple to figure out, someone dropped the ball, and I had to borrow my neighbors pump to do my "weed alert" !! I have 1 1/4 acres, and do it three times a yr. so hopefully it will work OK the next two times !steven reis sr

high quality product
bolted using existing holes. had to get conversion from1/2" barb to 3/8" on unit. description does not give barb size or states whether it is molded in place or 1/4" thread replaceable. it was a problem until I found a conversion barb to barb from tractor supply.acehardware seller was terrible to deal with and box was opened and missing the directions and maybe other stuff. they wouldn't help me at all-very broken english. called them twice after misinformation was given. they were no help and gave me bad info..pump works great, so far--only used 10 minutes today- willuse 4 hours tomorrow.

FIMCO replacement pump.
I use one of these pumps on each of my two FIMCO 30-gallon sprayers. Every few years (5-10) the pump will stop working. The first thing I do is to remove the pump from the tank, and remove the end of the pump where the wires enter the black plastic. Inside this part is where the pump mechanism with the moving diaphragm is located. Removing it is very easy to do and you do not have to be an underwater brain surgeon to accomplish the procedure. Once removed, use your thumb to depress the diaphragm a dozen times or so, and then, using an air hose with a small nozzle, blow air into each of the hose connectors. This procedure usually causes whatever jams the pump to go away, and after reassembled, the pump will work fine again. If this does not cause the pump to begin working again, you cannot go wrong by buying the same pump again as a replacement.I highly recommend it.

Helpful hint!
I received this pump in good order. Interesting it was Red not Black as pictured, not an issue. Installed my pump and tested but it did not work. This next portion may sound silly but it is a reality; I use an extra battery to power my sprayer that I normally use to power my aftermarket golf cart lights. The battery did not have a good charge so the pump did not work. I charged my battery for a bit the pump worked fine. Moral here is don't rush to return before you check your equipment.
