Not thrilled
I've seen a lot of recent reviews lately about Florsheim not being the company they were years ago. I've ignored them, mostly, but this last pair I bought just doesn't have the same comfort. I'm on my feet a lot as a professional during the day, and these just don't have the same support I've gotten in the past. I bought these along with a Stacy Adams pair and the difference was monumental. The Florsheim shoes themselves have a nice look, but if you regularly wear shoes to work and do a decent amount of walking or standing, find something else.

Great shoe, good looks, great feel, bad longevity.
I've bought these shoes three times now. I love the way they fit and feel, but unfortunately they do not last. I work in restaurants and they tend to get abused. I think each pair has lasted 6 to 8 months before the soles start wearing out. You can't beat the price for the fit and looks. Watch out if you walk on a wet or damp surface. These things are like ice skates. If you wear these once a week and or work in a carpeted office, then they'll last you a long time. Maybe next time I'll actually spend the money and get a pair that will last and can be resoled... and then again, maybe not.

These ain't your father's Florsheims
A generation ago your first pair of Florsheim shoes was one of many rites of passage into adulthood. The build, the fit, the quality; it was all there. After a 30 year absence from my life I thought I would embrace a new pair of those vaunted brogues. Alack and alas, it wasn't to be. The leather and construction is not what was then. And my standard 13 regular was a no go, a second try with a 13 wide was just as painful. In fact, I'm not convinced that they didn't just throw a pair of 13 regular into a 13 wide box and call it good. Needless to say, I'm not trying a third time. Florsheim, you've dashed my hope that what was could still be. Adieu.

Should have stuck with the same model I had before...
I've been a Florsheim person for years. This pair of shoes however, forget it. I've only worn them four or five times, but now that they're starting to get broken in, when you step, they front of the shoe naturally breaks behind the toe cap, which pinches down on the top of the foot. And the heels are bit too tight around the bottoms, even in the wide width I ordered. Should have stuck with the same style of Oxfords I've purchased before, instead of going for something a little cheaper. Will NOT buy these again. May just spend the money and get a new pair now. Very disappointed.

Perfect for business casual attire. Color is nice and uniform. Requires shoe horn.
I wanted tan leather shoes that were similar to wingtip but would fit with business casual attire. While these looked a bit narrow they fit comfortably. It does take a shoe horn to get into them. The up side is they don't took blocky or large. The lacing style is also hard to get used to.While walking the soles are midway between sneakers and stiff all leather wingtip shoes in both flexibility and noise level. They are very uniform in color, which is ok, even though the pictures seemed to show more variation.

Once you try them, you'll never go back!
I'm a picky person when it comes to shoes and I also have an awkward shape. Finding shoes that fit me properly is a nghtmare (dress shoes mainly). I discovered Florsheim and I swear I'll never go back. I pay a lot for each pair but their craftsmanship and comfort is by far the best, better than clarks, Bostonian or any other high end shoe.

size
I wear a 10.5 regular shoe and got these in a 10 and they fit perfect. This is my second pair of these in black. The bottom on my first pair cracked. I wear them regularly Mon-Fri and have a identical pair, but in brown that I also wear. The brown pair was bought at the same time as the first black pair and did not crack. I chalked it up to a bad pair so I bought another pair in black. I got them in September 2019 and they have since held up. They look nice and work with business casual or suits.

Nice Dress Shoes
These are nice, traditional dress shoes. The leather is soft and not ultra shiny. The soles and heels are of medium thickness, not big and clunky like some Oxfords. The soles look like leather on Amazon, but they are rubber made to look like leather.

My favorite shoes.
I wear size 12 and have feet that are a bit wide. I always have trouble finding dress shoes that are a good fit and also comfortable. Most dress shoes are way too big because the toe area extends too far out, and on a size 12 shoe that means it's really hard to walk up stairs and other things because it's so long. I didn't have that problem with these shoes; perfect fit and the sole is very comfortable. My only complaint is that it's a bit scuffed at the front after wearing it a few days already. I hope the quality won't be an issue.

Good value for the price
I bought this at a discounted price and it is good value for money. My size is 9.5 and this fits a little bigger. The upper leather is not as fine as I expected but I am hoping Floreshiem product will live up to its quality expectations, fingers crossed.

Beware of sizes/refunds/ increased prices
Shoes came via Prime in 2 days - looked great but were 1 size too big. Want to return them & when I tried to order the next smaller size the price increased $50. Very dissapointed that the original price is not being honoured.

Good Quality Shoes
My husband loves these shoes. He has bought 3 pairs in the last few years, 2 in saddle tan color and 1 in black. He finds the shoes comfortable and they fit his wide feet.
