Open your eyes to a charming film
A charming film. I watched it in Spanish with Spanish subtitles to practice my language. Some informal Spanish difficult to follow, but I understood enough to enjoy the film. Music not too shabby, either.

The film is terrific. I chose this copy on the assumption, which I am sure was indicated, that it was suitable for Australian market. The film has no subtitles and as such is useless to a non-Spanish speaking individual.

Total, una buenísima peli, vale la pena verla.I was expecting a light comedy supported by music from the Beatles, but this film is much more. It's funny sometimes but also serious in its main theme - simply that everybody occasionally needs help from other people.Javier Cámara plays the central character to perfection, an eccentric teacher who uses Beatles lyrics to teach English to his pupils, a man clearly obsessed but also endearing and entirely believable. While driving to Almería in the hope of meeting John Lennon he picks up by chance two young people (also very well played), one a boy of sixteen running away from home and the other a girl of twenty-one with problems of her own.The Andalucian landscape is used to very good effect and so is the Beatles music, especially their song 'Help' which becomes a kind of theme song for the story. In all, a super film, well worth watching.
