This is my favorite Christmas movie. Tradition to watch it every year. This movie needs to go viral.Put it on YouTube for free. PLEASE!

First saw this in 2018 on television around Christmas while scanning the channels looking for something to watch. Did not catch the beginning, but decided to keep it on. Following the story, became intrigued and got interested. Was not until the end that we realized this was the actual story of how this came to be. Don't want to ruin it for anyone - but we really enjoyed it. We would highly recommend this movie as a definite addition to your Christmas viewing list. :-)

authentic, fabulous recreation---top notch acting, the music is beautiful, yet perfect in its "amateur-ness"----the scenery alone immerses the viewer instantly into the historical setting. This is one of those instant classics that falls into the category of family/friends traditional Christmas movies to enjoy year after year

I had seen it before it was a perfect gift. If you can get more I would like to order more as they are not availabe here in Utah.

If you can ever find a copy of this, grab it. It is the story of a young priest who wrote the beautiful hymn "Silent Night".

Bought it for my mom. Got a good prize on it. People get greedy and over-prize this movie.

A story about the beloved Christmas carol, but also about how the church can go wrong when you lose sight of Jesus.
