I ordered this durable break-away for a whistle to use as a play prop. The design uses a really strong magnetic hold and yet it pulls off on the first strong tug. It has worked perfectly for each show.

I am a lifeguard and I use The fox 40 sonic with these lanyards and suggested to every lifeguard out there. Breakaway lanyards are the way to go for lifeguards because choking hazards can happen to the lifeguard win saving an individual. These are sturdy lanyards the only bad thing is that they rust overtime on the clip.

I needed a new lanyard for work to hold my id card because the one they gave me was so cheap it broke after two days at work. I needed something cheap, simple and durable and this seemed like the best fit. For some reason you can't find lanyards anywhere and thats why I had to come to amazon. Been using it for a couple months and still holds up like the day I bought it. The keychain clip is quite hard to open but other than that its everything I needed.

I bought this lanyard for a Fox 40 whistle. And in combination, you can't feel it in your pocket. I'm not an 80s gym teacher so I don't wear it around my neck. The break away option is nice if you do though, nothing wrong with that. The combination is actually TOO light weight. The whistle is great, but since it's SO light weight, I think the lanyard needs to be a little more, substantial. I've had to add a key ring to the combination to make sure I'm aware that it's in my pocket. If you don't have a problem keeping up with your whistle...then this is the lightest whistle/lanyard money can buy.
