Genuine Toyota PTR03-34140 TRD Performance Air Filter

I purchased this for my 2020 Toyota Tundra 5.7, and yes it does fit according to the part number. Amazon vehicle match seems to mistake it to not fit but it fits true. I am very precarious about venturing to filters that are not OEM in fear of potential voided warranty but considering this is OEM everything should be fine. I am also in-tuned to my truck from a performing factor but haven't noticed much from a HP or torque difference necessarily. Something I have noticed that throttle response seems to have improved quite a bit. Tundras with stock filters have always had bucky throttles but this one seems to open it up more. The Tundras I have known have always had a little intake whistle or noise and this filter seems to make that more noticeable which I like but some may find it annoying if the cab is completely silent. I recommend this filter over the others simply because it is OEM but won't say that it performs any better or worse than the competitors. Plus it save you a little money. I never reuse mine I always replace but I'm confident that you could with this filter if done properly.

2016 TRD tacoma, nice drop in replacement into ur oem/stock air box. This is a reusable/cleanable filter, no longer will i have to continue to purchase paper filters. Quality is OEM (part number in pic). Much stronger build, and hopefully better airflow. I’m not looking for performance or a “intake noise”, becauseyou won’t get any extreme change. But, the red looks nice. If ur looking for a new filter, this is the one. If ur looking for extreme performance, then this isn’t what ur looking for. It’s just a OEM TRD filter at the end of the day.

Perfect fit in my 2018 TRD Sport 4x4. It woke up the engine! I noticed with the OEM filter it struggled when I accelerated and going up hills. It always felt like there was a lag in power. Now with TRD filter throttle response has improved my 75% and power is more instantaneous, what you expect for a V6. Highly recommend as standard upgrade. I’m been monitoring my MPG and I’ve consistently been showing 23 MPG from 21 with stock. Both at sea level. This is also a higher quality build and better materials used than a K&N.

Fit, decently priced through this vendor

The air filter fits my 2018 tacoma trd sport did not seem to come oiled like the k&n filters I have the recharge kits so added some oil and let it drive. I took it for a spin and notice better response she even shifted sooner than normal im currently at 16mpg time will tell if mpg increase will follow up late.

Sure you can spend $400+ to get the entire TRD intake kit or just buy the TRD air intake filter.I wish the kit was cheaper but its basically window dressing, alot of money for the extra badging.The filter installation was super simple drop in replacement. You'll notice right off the bat your vehicle makes a deeper growl, but most surprising is the responsiveness during the initial acceleration from a complete stop. I can't attest to improved MPG yet, just installed it.The only downside is you will have to spend the extra money to buy the detergent and recharging oil for the filter.

Product seems authentic? If was double bagged inside of its box. A lot of fraying with the metal like strands, they seem to have been pulled out of the silicone edges. I hope this is not a fake
