Oster Pro 1200 Smoothie Blender with Glass Jar & 24oz To-Go Cup, Countertop Kitchen Blender with 7 Speeds, 1200W Power, Brushed Nickel

There is an old saying, "I Hate You Sometimes, But I Love You Always" One has to be married a few years to fully understand that statement. My wife makes smoothies for her breakfast on a daily basis. I previously purchased this same exact blender for her back in 2020. For some unknown reason, she feels this need to assist the blender, by attempting to stir the contents a little while the blender is running. As is not uncommon, she ignored my cautions. In doing so, she accidentally dropped a stainless steel spoon in the blender while it was running. After the explosive sound of incoming shrapnel subsided, we were left with a spoon and a blender that were totally destroyed. She liked this now deceased blender, better than any that she had used. Thus I set out to order her a replacement. Unfortunately, this model had been discontinued. I ordered it 3 times from Amazon and others, only to have them cancel the order because it was no longer unavailable. Fast forward a year later to November 2025, somehow, Amazon had them again. I immediately ordered one. My wife almost did a happy dance when it showed up. This blender just does a fabulous job. The blade configuration is exceptional. It also auto reverses will running. This back-and-forth feature, pulls the contents down in to the blades for better mixing. It also makes it unnecessary to stir it with a spoon while running. (smiling) The jar portion is heavy glass, making it more durable and easier to clean. It has a powerful motor and numerous settings for various applications. This machine is a winner. It does not disappoint. Also, being an Oster brand, one can easily find parts for it.

Excellent blender, just a bit noisy, but that can be remedied by keeping it on a soft pad.

Retired my Blendtec in favor of glass jar blending from now on. Unfortunately, it seems impossible to find a blender with a glass smoothie cup, so I crossed my fingers and hoped this Oster would accept either a regular mouth or a wide mouth Mason jar, but it doesn’t. Overall it’s a decent blender but it’s just as noisy as my Blendtec, and not as powerful. It balked at starting smoothly with frozen fruit against the blades, so I started loading the greens in first with the frozen fruit on top, and that yielded an acceptable protein smoothie. Had a VitaMix for years before the Blendtec, and both were superlative machines but with more evidence of micro and nanoplastics ending up inside us, the switch to glass blending jars seemed prudent. After a week of cleaning the big glass blending jar every morning after building my protein smoothie, I decided that the only way to make a smoothie in the same glass jar that you would drink it from was with an immersible blender. The Braun MQ5000 was what I ended up buying, and it does work with wide mouth Mason jars, but not with the regular mouth Mason jars. It blends frozen fruit, goji berries and greens with no issues, with the only downside being that it’s not as convenient as a smoothie cup on a blender with a dedicated smoothie button that you can walk away from as it cycles your drink and stops automatically at the end of the cycle. If the Oster came with a glass smoothie cup it would’ve been an easy five stars. Good luck finding your own non plastic smoothie cup solution.

Best blender I have ever owned! It actually crushes the ice in my protein shake! Has several settings to make different types of shakes but I just use the medium setting. Looks good on counter too. And it is glass!

After almost two years fighting and shelling out $ for the "Bullets" (Nutri-Bullet and Magic Bullet) and all the related pieces (tops, blades, rims, etc.), I purchased the Oster Pro 1200 here on Amazon, and wow, what a difference! First of all, this is just half the cost of a Bullet, and you don't need to pay for all the accessories. Second, this thing has huge power. Most of what I blend are nutritional sports smoothies that involve lots of ice, frozen fruit, and protein powder. With the Oster Pro 1200, no problem! Even if you don't blend immediately after adding the Almond Milk, the whole thing can turn into a hard packed ice block, it still works great. In fact, it has a pre-programmed "smoothie" function: turn the blender on, hit the "smoothie" button, and the blender launches into a sequence of short bursts, backwards, forwards, and then wraps up with a long forward blend sequence. Voila! Perfect smoothie every time. And big quantity too. I can fill up almost 2x the 24 oz. cups that come with the unit by filling the entire vessel with ingredients, and somehow it blends everything up nicely. But here is the best part - it works without hassle or making a mess. The Bullets are always leaking when the bottom twists off while blending. The bullets sometimes stop working if they get overworked/over heated. The Bullets have limited capacity, and heaven help you if you fill a Bullet up to too much before blending - what a mess. To enjoy your smoothie from the Bullets, you have to take the blades off first, and that can get messy. With the Oster Pro 1200 here is what you have to do to enjoy your soothie: take the top off! Yes, that's it. No BS. So I highly recommend you "dodge the Bullets" and order the Oster Pro 1200. Plenty of power. The Oster people are experts in blending. The Bullet people are experts in marketing.

I bought this specific blender two years ago and it worked fine until one day It stopped working but the first one was so good at blending anything you put in there.It is noisy though, but it’s really quick that’s why I’m buying another one hope this helps.

Salió muy buena, llevo 2 años con ella y todo va muy bien. El vaso es muy útil para los licuados. El motor va bien, le compré el seguro y afortunadamente no lo he tenido qué utilizar. La recomiendo. Licúa bastante bien, varias velocidades y algunas funciones hacen que sea reversible. Coincide bien con la descripción. En su momento llegó bien empacada.

After assembly when turned it on ...it just didnt work.

Me costó 1500 creo que es la mejor compra con descuento que he adquirido, sí hace ruido pero se justifica por su motor potente ya que tritura hielo , me llegó en su momento con su caja original y en perfectas condiciones, ya tengo 3 años con ella y nunca me ha dado problemas de ningún tipo, la recomendación es de 10/10! Ésta marca nunca falla ❣️

Primero que nada el precio La encontré a un súper precio $2085 (+o-) Segunda Es una licuadora de una calidad excelente, yo conocía el modelo porque en unas cafeterías que trabaje la tenían y era buenisima, hace el hielo como si fuera smootie 🙈 Tercera Llego rapidísimo, tarde más en concretar mi pedido que en lo que llego Les cuento mi experiencia, ese mismo artículo pero en lugar del vaso para licuados, con el procesador de alimentos, lo pedí en Walmart on line , pero después de varios días me lo cancelaron , allá me había costado 2400 (+o-), estaba muy enojado porque aparte de que me cancelaron la compra no me devolvían mi efectivo, entre a ver a Amazon y veo la oferta (que compré) y de inmediato la aparte , fui y reclame en la otra empresa hasta que me devolvieron mi dinero, me lo devolvieron y de inmediato pague , al otro día llego Estoy totalmente satisfecho, estoy tan satisfecho que los reyes de mis hijos los pedí por aquí y una batería de cocina también la pedí por aquí Siempre me ha gustado comprar en Amazon , porque es económico y rapidísimo
