had to splice my old connector from the bad unit to this one due to incorrect end on the new, other than that it is a direct fit.

I ordered this fan motor to replace the fridge motor in my GE, model GTZ18GBEERSS. Thankfully the part arrived within a day or two after placing my order because the shaft on the old motor was loose, which caused the fan to wobble as it would spin and it hit all sides of the aluminum housing with every revolution~ which was incredibly noisy. The noise was so loud and so obnoxious, our family could hardly hear each other without shouting, it was that loud. Swapping the two motors was easy and did not take long at all. We did have experience though because we had to replace the motor for the fan in the freezer of this fridge about 2 years ago. I’m hopeful that whatever caused the shafts on both motors to become loose has something to do with the GE parts and not the fridge itself because the new one we installed in the freezer about 2 years ago still works well. Keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way.

Working great so far. Shut up my noisy fridge!For reference, the motor I received came with a female plug. This is exactly what I needed for my application (condenser fan motor).As best I can tell, WR60X10348 (and all the obsolete part numbers it replaces) always comes with a female plug.I'll toss in a picture of what I received.The very similar looking WR60X10141 (evaporator fan motor) has the male plug.I don't think they are exactly identical though, the evap fan motor seems to spec a lower wattage.My one minor complaint? The motor shaft is completely smooth. The OEM motor removed from the fridge had very shallow slots cut lengthwise into the shaft.Why does this matter? After running for a few minutes, the fan walked off the shaft and fell into the condensate pan! Of course this happened after I already pushed the fridge back against the wall.My solution was to grind a flat spot into the shaft with a dremel, fan bites right in and and doesn't move now. I recall someone in another listing mentioned using super glue, which should also work too.

I am redoing this review that I gave a negative feed back on. After doing a lot of searching I took the motor out of the fridge and found out that the part # on it does not match the part #'s that GE has for a replacement. So if the manufacture of this part has read the review before I could update it, I am EXTREMELY SORRY.

We had to splice the old plug end with this new one since it didn't match up. Seems to be working fine just frustrated that once again things are not what they seem when ordering.
