Marukome Miso and Easy, Miso Broth Concentrate, Vegetarian Reduced Sodium, 13.8 Ounce

This soup is delicious and very easy to make. My first time eating it, I ate it as a plain miso soup, adding in some garlic, parsley, rosemary and basil. But it's a fine soup by itself. But I can see many possibilities with it, making a vegetable soup -- or I also think I will make it and add in nori and tofu cubes too. The container indicates it can be used to make marinades and dressings. I would also add some to casseroles or a stir fry too. I bought one for home and one for work. I used my coffee maker to make a cup of hot water and stirred in a tablespoon of this miso. The container makes 24 servings. That makes it a great value for the price, approximately 41 cents per serving. Very good product. I will continue to buy this.

Nice easy fast miso

I learned about this brand while living in Japan. It’s great to find it here. I use it for soup, as it’s intended, but I also use it for seasoning when it seems appropriate.

For it’s price, this is really hard to beat. I like how it’s easy to cook and comes in a handy packaging. Taste wise, it’s pretty decent. The sour taste is more prominent than the miso taste. It might be because it’s less sodium so the way I taste it is different than what I usually it. Nevertheless, if you’re craving for easy to serve miso. This is good! Add some diced tofu and seaweed and it will get better!

Nice miso with lower sodium. Love to use this with rice noodles, tofu or chicken, and veggies to make my own soup. I like this as opposed to powder packets, liquid broth, and even paste because I can control how much I want to use based on the ingredients I'm using and how strong I want to make my broth. I found this brand in the store but not the vegetarian reduced sodium so happy to find it here on Amazon. Also, it's gluten free and haven't gotten sick eating it (I have celiac disease).

Great for a quick hot broth or to enhance a vegetable soup. Great to use in a marinade

I have no issues with the product in terms of taste. In fact, I really enjoyed using this product. This is good for a soup and even in a salad. My main issue is that I don't think it is worth the current price. It does not go long enough to justify it in my opinion. I would love to say I would buy it again, but not at the price unfortunately.

This was shipped well and very quickly. This is a really good product, with low sodium (compared with full-sodium miso products). Very much appreciated!
