Dracula Doesn't Drink Lemonade (The Adventures of the Bailey School Kids, #16) Paperback – October 1, 1995

This book is a great read. Bailey School Kids books never disappoint!

When I ordered the book I was suprized at how fast I got it and it was pacjed really good. These are the cutest books. My granddaughter reads them out loud to Paw Paw and I get interest in them so I can't wait to hear the ones she gets for Christmas.

My daughter loves these books. Sh actually gave me the money from her allowance to order this one. She is one happy little girl as the book is in excellent condition!

This book series about Bailey School Kids is one of a few about Dracula. The kids in third grade find out they have a new counselor for the school after a fight has broken out. One of the kids, who is in fourth grade, is called into the office and looks a bit paler after meeting Mr. Drake.Rumors run amuck and the kids think he could be the infamous Count Dracula, C.D. for short. Hilariousness ensues as the kids try different things to find out for sure.I loved the things the kids tried to do to find out if their counselor was indeed Dracula. Everything you might know about the vampire is in this book one way or the other. Being a Halloween kind of person, this humored me. Kids sometimes are so innocent in their doings and in this book, that is truly the case.The book also touches a bit on kindness even when you may not particularly like someone. This is an undertone of the book but kid's reading the book will get it.The other thing I like about this book is it was a chapter book. The print was larger and could help not only emergent readers but those than may have a problem reading smaller print.This is a cute book and I love this series and look forward to reading more. 4 stars!Disclosure: I borrowed a copy of this book from my local library. you won't be laughing when count dracula nibbles nibbles your neck while you sleep, howie warned. at least i plan to be safe. for all you know, he's a sickly coousin of mrs.jeepers, melody argued. after all, who ever heard of a vampire breaking up fights? and i'm sure count dracula doesn't drink pink lemonade, eddie said.

Do you like mysteries because you will like this one! The name of the book is Dracula Doesn`t Drink Lemonade. The author is Debbie Dadey and Marcia Thornton Jones. The characters are Liza, Melody, Eddie, Ben, Huey, Howie, Mr.Drake, and Principal Davis. The mystery takes place at Bailey School. Liza and Melody really told Ben to stop fighting with Huey. What partly happens is their principal tells them to go to the nurse's office. Liza and Melody are in shock because Ben is faking he is sick! Do you think Mr.Drake is really a Dracula? Do you think Mr. Drake really pushed Ben? Read the book to find out.

My grand daughter loved her present and spent many hours reading it. She loves to read and loves this series,
