This worked perfectly. Disregard all the reviews about it being slower or cheaper than the OEM. This worked perfectly, I use a 24v battery conversion adapter on it and this gearbox did not disappoint. The motor is the same speed as the OEM and works great.

We acquired an old Kid Trax KT1003 fire truck, a two-seater that was probably last made in 2013. I had to deduce what might be the correct motor+gearbox assembly for that toy, since none of the assemblies for any of the toys I'm seeing anywhere explicitly mention that fire truck model. I'm happy to report that this one works perfectly. The same assembly is used on both rear wheels, so you just order two of them - the fire engine's controller apparently runs the motors in opposite directions (with respect to their gear boxes) which allows the same part to be used on both the driver and passenger sides.

Yes it's cheaper than the OEM gear box but it is also super weak. Didn't even last 1 week of the kids driving on it. The gears were all stripped out, don't waste your money and don't disappoint your kids when it breaks down in a week like I did.

Product was purchased for a Kid Trax Ram 3500 Firetruck. Seems like a decent product. It was heavy and seemed well made came greased. Ended up not needing it so can’t speak on the working quality or longevity.

Cheep plastic case and gears. First time both my children (90lbs together) drove car and stopped going down a hill the plastic case broke in half around the drive tire. Cheep plastic gears and case don’t buy.
