Primal Lenormand the Game of Hope

Beautiful....Wonderful Size
Why are these cards getting such a bad reputation due to size? Yes, they are larger than other Lenormand...which in my not so humble opinion are generally WAY TOO TINY...These cards are smaller than standard Oracle Card size but slightly bigger than bridge cards. Unless you have hands the size of an eight year old these cards are not that big.Actually they are a perfect size. Very nice card stock. Quality made.Printed in Germany. I am actually very happy with my purchase.

Cards way too big - unless you want to use these as houses in the Grand Tableau!
I love historical decks, and these are pretty and well-made, but these cards are huge, making them pretty unusable for larger spreads (or really, even in general). The box they come in is nice and sturdy, and the accompanying booklet has some interesting historical content. Even so, I am not using this deck due to its size. It's disappointing because if they were mini or standard Lenormand size, this would be a perfect deck.Update: I finally figured out a way to take advantage of the huge size of these cards. If you read the Grand Tableau with houses, you can set these down first in sequence, then lay your drawn cards via another deck on top of them. It actually works out pretty well that way. So I'm kicking this up from 2 to 3 stars.

Best simple Lenormand deck
love everything about this deck! its easy to use and it's a remake of the very original Lenormand deck! Yes the cards are bigger then most Lenormand Deck. but nothing to crazy they're great for daily reading & big enough to appreciate the details on the card. simple, clean, easy to carry in a backpack if need be. Thank you amazing buy for sure...

Great Cards
I love these cards because they are The Game of Hope and because of their size. I use this deck to actually play The Game of Hope as well as use them as the backdrop for my Grand Tableau readings. I absolutely love the looks and the simplicity of these cards!

Old Fashioned
I like the old fashioned look to the cards. They are not too large to shuffle, not any worse than trying to manage a 78 card deck of tarot cards anyway. I am still learning the meanings to the cards. They are a pleasant meditation tool

MOST AUTHENTIC
This is my 6th Lenormand deck. I love traditional when it comes to cards for reading and this one the most authentic of allof them. Its probably my favorite deck and the simplicity and character of the drawings are wonderful The added aged effect of the card isalso fun...You must have this deck to really feel the origins of the creator

If you like bigger sized Lenormand this one is it.
I love oversized decks when I am a fan of them. I haven't played the Game of Hope with it because I bought it more for guidance. The corners are nicely rounded and the card stock is decent. The only thing is that the background is a beige shade. I prefer either white background or a brighter shade but that's just me. The LWB has a larger section is German but there is some English in the back with simple card meanings (page 55-59) etc.Top left: you have the hearts, acorns, bells and leaves which again is another system of fortune telling.Top right: standard playing cards associated with the cards but really it is another cartomancy system because it does not reflect most of the Lenormand meanings. Also, the court cards are not double sized. So, you see you actually get 3 systems in one plus the Game of Hope. The cards do not have the names on them but with practice you will know them. The cards are numbered according to the Lenormand system. For example: #1 is the rider, #2 is the clover, #3 is the ship and so on.I gave this deck a 5 star because I like it but I do want to point out a few things:1. The Clouds card has no light or dark side which is typical. The dark part is on the bottom and the lighter part is on the top within the image. So, if you read this card factoring in light and dark off to the right or left you will have to put a dot on one side to differentiate.2. The rider/horse face to the left.3. The 3 fish in the Fish card are just lying there sort of above the water.4. The Whip card #11 card which is called Birchrod in the LWB is not the modern day whip and the birchrod is on top of a table.5. The scythe in the Scythe card point downwards so that means the card below it will feel it's influence. If you are a directional reader you may not like that. The gentleman and lady face each other which is a bonus.Despite a few minor changes of direction in the images making the adjustments is analysis should be really easy.I do recommend the Ur-Lenormand it is quite beautiful in its simplicity.
