How exciting can moth traps be? Actually I had a very bad infestation. They had arrived in a package of nuts, and they were on a high shelf so I didn't see them. They were everywhere in every tiny crack. I found the little creepy worms in my living room where the walls and ceiling meets. Of course the mothswere flying everywhere. I had to remove everything from cupboards and throw most of the items out. I even found them inside lids of items never opened. After vacuuming them all out, the exterminators sprayed it. They had left me a sticky trap, but it didn't seem very effective. That is why I ordered these trapsThe one in the kitchen did pretty well, but the one in the living room, where they were still flying around didn't seem to be that effective. I live in a small apartment, so it isn't a large space to cover. I had read a review of traps that sounded like they were a lot better. I wish I had taken the time to locate them. I never had these when I lived in California, now on the east coast they seem to be prevalent. I'm not sure why it should be that way, so perhaps I was just lucky there. DonnaIt is now several months later, and I have kept traps out continually. Now the current traps are completely free of moths. I would suggest using this method to completely rid your infestation.Donna

Not quite as good, but still great
I use these a lot as I do a lot of baking and don't want meal moths in my pantry. I recently had some organic flour that was full of moth larve, and unfortunately, I didn't realise it right away.I usually get these Revenge traps at a local supplier, but they had run out and since I needed them immediately, I ordered on-line. Let me explain that the traps work by catching moths on the trap's sticky surface; I am not sure if there is bait or not, but in the past, the traps have worked like a charm. However, these traps, unlike the ones I generally get locally (same brand, packaging, etc.), had a sticky surface, but only about one half to 2/3 of the entire surface was sticky. I recently purchased the traps again locally, and while they are not completely covered like before, they almost are. So I wonder if these particular traps were defective. These were cheaper, but the smaller sticky area leaves much less room for the moths to get snagged on and neccessitates using more traps.Overall though, I love these traps.

I need moth traps, but would not buy these again as they are too weak
I used to have birds and those damn moths loved the seeds. I bought whole boxes of moth traps at the Home Depot, damn expensive, but they worked. To save money, I bought this set. They definitely are a lot cheaper, but they don't attract as many moths as the expensive traps. I therefore had to fill my house with as many of these el cheapo traps as possible. If only that company could make them stronger, I would buy them.

DId not work for my moths
There seem to be more than one species of moth that we commonly call 'pantry moths'. Other reviewers raved about this trap saying it caught dozens. I put it side by side with a Pro Pest Pantry moth trap: and the Pro Pest caught over 20 moths in 3 days while the Revenge trap caught zero. I suspect that different traps work better with different species - so if you have an infestation I'd suggest getting 2 kinds to see what works for you. I (and my moths) are sticking with Pro Pest from now on.

Excellent Moth Traps - Do a great job.
These are the BEST. They do a great job attracting moths, and have caught many for me. I tried another brand after buying these, but will stick with this brand going forward.

Hope they like the dust and dark now
Within seconds a flock of pantry moths flew to the attractant and I vacuumed them into a new place where they could assemble. Hope they like the dust and dark now.
