Only use the 800 for very low power draw requirements
I purchased the Tecnoware ERA PLUS 800 UK to add protection to my PC. It works fine until I start playing games, then it cannot cope with the power draw and goes into an 'overload' condition (loud alarm noise - then shuts off completely). This is with a very power efficient PC so I thought it would be ok - but alas not. Build quality etc. is fine for the price but you should only use the 800 on low power draw equipment.

No Power Cable, No Manual, Awful Software & Tech Support is in Italian
Should be plug and play, it wasn't. The first issue was that it does not come with a power cable?? Thankfully the APC UPS this is replacing fitted fine. On powering it up, the filtered outlets worked, but the battery ones did not. My Mac did recognised the UPS when the USB port was connected. When I tried registering the product to get support, it became clear this was an Italian product and the level of English language support was going to be poor. I managed to register ok and download the manual & software. The manual was ok, but did not address my problem in the trouble shooting section, or anywhere else that I could find. A QR code to the PDF would have been nice instead of making me search for it on the website. The software is truly awful - my USP wasn't working and it was unable to assist me in any trouble shooting. The software is called ViewPower, screenshot of the GUI attached.... I tried to raise a support ticket (RMA), they clearly haven't tested the forms with non-Italian speaking users. I managed to get through after a few tries, but each time there was an error, the pop-up window was in Italian. I use Deepl for translations, so all good I thought - well it was until the last three word error pop-up "Incongruneza tipoloigie garanzia". Deepl couldn't translate it and even ChatGPT returned "appears to be a combination of words that do not form a coherent sentence in Italian, English, or any other language that I'm aware of. It seems to be a jumble of unrelated terms."! So I couldn't raise a ticket for help. There was not telephone support alternative. The warranty is not 5 years, the battery is only 12 months unless you pay a premium to extend it. Also the display was annoyingly blurred for some reason. I wasted nearly 2 hours trying to install and troubleshoot this product, but thankfully Amazon made it easy to return.

Brilliant bit of kit
Brilliant piece of kit, has easily replaceable batteries if they ever get tired. Works my 4G router for several hours. In UK you will need a figure 8 mains cable as it comes with a two pin mains lead. I use a USB C convertor lead to give me 12v into a 5.5mm plug for my router. As it has a built in mains power no need to use an existing 12v power supply to run it.

Easy to setup, good piece of equipment for the price.
Purchased the ERA UPS Plus DC for just under £20. Initial thoughts are the plug provided isn't for the UK market but a shaver adapter 2 pin to 3 pin that I had spare came in very useful. I guess for the price you can't really expect one to be provided so if you do opt for this you'll need to purchase one or alternatively a 3 pin plug & cable with 2 pin (figure of 8) type connection. First impressions are good.. Simple to set up, came with multiple barrel plug sizes but didn't need these as the cable supplied from the UPS to the ONT was suitable. Haven't tried a full test to see how long it lasts, however unplugging from the mains power and plugging back in to replicate a power cut provided a useful test. For some reason where I live we have frequent power supply drops so at least it will keep the ONT active, my router is on another much larger UPS so both working together will keep me connected during these short outages.

Great device - looks good and does what it says on the tin.....
The unit appears well made and was simple to set-up. No mains power lead is supplied (there is a reliance on you re-using one of the IEC cables you previously have in your set-up). Two interconnect cables are provided which is useful, however I needed to buy two more cables independently as there are 4 UPS outlets. The kit (when first installed) takes around 4 hours to reach 100% battery power and is silent in operation. If the power goes down then the battery kicks in pretty much instantaneously and it is only then when you get a significant increase in noise and a beeping sound to inform that the UPS is in operation (which can be silenced). I connected my UPS via USB to my computer and I can see power usage and set up various functions such as whether I want my computer to safely shut down in the event of loss of power. Instructions to use this software are average but workable. Registering is a nightmare and I've not managed to do it as the website is a mix of Italian and English and some options simply don't appear to work, feels a bit unfinished. In summary, good looking and slim device (but weighs about 10kg), quiet in normal operation. In tests it worked effectively and apparently it will give me around 20 minutes of backup power in the event of an issue (I have a hefty gaming PC, External SSD Drive, External HDD drive and a NAS server all connected up). So, good purchase for the money and worth it for piece of mind that power interruptions will be less likely to destroy my PC or data.

Appeared good at first but then quickly went down hill
This review is for the EXA PLUS 2000 UPS Was well packaged and came with 1 USB cable and 2 Male to Female UPS leads that I was not expecting so bonus points, no power lead however but most users will have a power lead for the PC and its a standard kettle type anyway. One review has mentioned the display was blurred but that is the protective covering which can be peeled off. As seen in the pictures, the battery access panel below the display has a wonky sticker which was raised, off centre and looked very cheap. I did manage to peel this off and re-apply to straighten it as it would bug me every time I looked at it) Initially all was well and plugged in and turned on just fine. There was a little guide with details on the units plugs and connections but no instructions at all about operation or any mention of where to go and download (That I could see). After scanning the QR code I found the web site and tried to register only to find you need to pay £86 for the full 5 years cover and thats only for the unit the £86 did get you 2 years on the battery! The web site does have English but still some un translated parts. I ran a test and found the unit is NOT silent as advertised. When on battery and after when charging, the fans kick in and are very loud, they stay running until its back to full charge. There are plenty of output plugs and the monitoring software does work but is very limited in functionality. This will be fine for a simple setup but be very aware of the noise. Another reason for my concerns and eventual return request, if there are any RMA requirements based on others feedback, you will have issues. I gave it 2 stars because, while it does work, the product description does not have all the important information, specifically noise and the warranty process. I have returned and I am purchasing from a local UK company (BPC Energy) , while more expensive there is far less worries.

Solid product, poor website and software
Bought the 1200 version, and charged it for 24 hours before use. The item itself seems solidly made and is silent in operation - no fans or other distractions, and it also gets only warm in use. In fact, there's so little heat being dissipated, I'm happy for it to sit in a cupboard. Bought primarily as back-up power for our CCTV system, and I'm guessing it would suffice for that. When I tried it with the CCTV and a PC (650w PSU) attached, it gave me 5 minutes runtime before the battery was exhausted. So, enough to turn off the PC and save wear on the hard drives, should I be around. The actual switchover from mains to battery worked really well, with no interruption to the power supply, so it's capable of doing its job OK. However, the website experience is woeful. And so is the software that I finally managed to track down. Try to register the product, and try to get the 5 year guarantee that a sticker on the battery proclaims? No chance. The website comes to a complete stop. Installed the software and it immediately interfered with the CCTV software. I couldn't, for the life of me, get the Viewpower power management software to run. Using Windows 10, it appears you may need to mess around with network settings just to see how much charge is left in the battery. These days, things should just work out of the box. I'm not a network novice, but it really wasn't worth the time and hassle getting it to work. You may have more luck. You may not. I've uninstalled the software, and I was in two minds about returning it. However, it was an Amazon Warehouse purchase (I wonder why the initial buyer returned it.....), so I think, given the discount, I'll just leave it hooked up to the CCTV system and hope for the best. Should give me 30 minutes at least, given the power drain.
