I bought just the mug from this collection from Lenox intending to use it for drinking coffee. It's not like a normal coffee mug and holds only about 10 ounces to the top but it is definitely more dainty. I already have a teacup and saucer by Lenox which holds even less than this one that I use for tea (4 ounces). I tried using this for an 8-ounce cup of coffee but by the time I add sugar and cream it spills over the top. I guess it's really 10 ounces to the very, very top! The China pattern is lovely and can match just about anything - it's plain and simple as well as elegant. Lenox is something that holds its value for years and years - pieces can be added over time until the set is complete. Definitely recommend! The rim of these 'mugs' is thin, not thick as regular coffee mugs, in case anyone cares.

Our original Lenox Eternal has been with us since our wedding back in the early 1990's. I absolutely LOVE it and am happy I chose such a classic pattern. As our family has grown over time, I needed to add some plates for the upcoming holiday, so I naturally checked out Amazon to see if I could get them fast and at a decent price. Macy's is selling the same plates for the same price, but as a Prime member, this was the easiest solution. After checking reviews I ordered one extra plate in case there was some breakage. AMAZINGLY nothing was broken upon arrival, and that is saying a lot because the packaging was a joke. BUT, four of the five plates have a red marking on the bottom, which is greatly disappointing. It looks like the plates may have been seconds, but there is no way to tell for sure. I'm going to keep them because I need them and don't want to deal with the return, but If you have the time, I would suggest you check out your local store to avoid the same situation. No one wants red markings on their fine china. Sad face.

I've been building my collection of Lenox Eternal for years. This dinnerware is so beautiful, classic, and timeless. The China is a creamy, rich ivory, and the gold touches make it super special. It is a joy to set the table for my family with this set. It's a bit pricey, but it is heirloom quality and the timeless design will make it attractive for generations to come.

Ordered six. One was delivered in damaged box and I could tell that the bowl inside had broken. Amazon was great, replaced it right away. And who can complain about the classic look and quality of Lenox? These bowls are perfect and luve up to their description as a place setting bowl. Very happy with purchase.

The product is really nice, if you receive it in decent condition. I ordered 4 originally, and had to get them replaced, because most of them had some sort of defect on them. There was either a black tarnished mark on the gold, or a chip in the gold, or black dot on the white portion of the cup. Even some of the replacements were defective. If that many cups are defective, they aren’t worth the price. I got them on sale, so I wasn’t as upset. I would never pay 50 dollars for these low quality cups. The 2 cups I kept, I like because they didn’t have any defects, and it’s still a nice looking cup for the 33 dollars I paid for each. I’m surprised that there isn’t better quality control at Lenox. They have other beautiful products, and I sure hope the other products are free from defects.
