My boyfriend screwed the scratching post into the wall since we didn’t want it on the floor. We got this because our cats went through a 80$ tower in 6 months. The used to fight over it & aggressively scratch the tower after they fought lol. They haven’t used it yet but we’ll see how this one goes, it it works well buy the 3 pack.edit: It’s probably been about a week & it’s still holding up extremely strong. especially with the cardboard into the wall. It did take them a day to realize how to use it or they even had one but it’s out of our way while still accessible to them. I also changed my rating from 4 stars to 5 due to the fact that it’s been a week, it holds cat nip well, & holds up super well screwed into a wall. 🤷🏼‍♀️edit: got this june 7th it’s now August 1st & this is what the scratching post has come too lol

I liked the idea of it, of not having all that tattered cardboard shavings all around my floor❌ but alas my cats love shredding/tearing the 😻cardboard scratching boxes and leaving a line of destruction of torn up cardboard shavings all around my floors but still turn their noses up at this "Premium" scratching box. I put the catnip on it that came with it and they 🐈🐈‍⬛(fur babies) just sat there next to it staring at me and then staring back at the "Premium" scratching box not understanding why I was happy with this box that they could not tear up. They walked off so I went and got their catnip and put it on there thinking "this will get them using it" 🤓but they still did not, one just licked it and the other just was swatting at the catnip. They won't even sit on it now🙄 It does seem sturdy though but really it is just a "Premium" card board looking box sitting on my floor that none of cats think is worth their time and energy. I really do wish they would have liked it.

My cat acted interested at the beginning, but soon lost interest. I used my own catnip because it is stronger than the stuff that comes with the board. She still didn't like it. She puts her claws into it, then acts like she's going to scratch, then pulls her claws back out and walks away. I think the problem is that she's used to a cardboard scratcher and there is nothing soft under the sisal material on top. Overall it's a good board. It appears to be very sturdy and the anti-slide backing strips are awesome. Unfortunately for me, Mazey doesn't like it.

My cats started using these right out of the box and love them, even before I added any catnip!I discovered this product by accident, when my pet supply place ran out of the cardboard scratchers I had been using and I came to Amazon for replacement. I had no idea anything like this existed. I was really tired of the cardboard shreds getting all over my house, but need something so my cats don't shred the carpet. These cost just a little bit more than the cardboard, so I decided to give them a try.I don't need the adhesive strips, so I can't talk about how they might work and this is our first day so I can't speak to their sturdiness, but I'm calling this a first-day total success. Bye-bye cardboard shreds. I will definitely order more of these.

The media could not be loaded. I thought my cats would like this. They do like all of the scratching boards. But all other boards are made of cardboard! I put catnip on them and they tear them up. This one promotes the fact that it’s made of sisal fabric and they’ll be no mess !!! nothing torn up. That’s the problem! What fun is it to scratch on something you can’t really tear apart. Watch my video! none of my cats will scratch it ! it’s that Sisal fabric .it’s not something Cats really enjoy on a scratching pad .maybe it might be great on a post, but as you can see in my video ,none of my four cats will scratch it. I will say that the catnip that they give with it is a very ,very fine catnip and my cats like that! Sorry Sisal ! Not a winner! My cats were waiting for their new toy!!!! Disappointing!

I like it because it doesn't take up a lot of space and I can easily move it to clean around. But it isn't about ME is it?! SHE loves it because she can climb all over it. Drape herself over the side and play with the hanging toys. Hide in the cubby and dart out a me. Some say the hole is too small for big cats. Then either slice it or use it for toy storage. RAWR TOYS! I don't see this as an issue ever. Don't let that stop you. Well made, no assembly. Hours of fun and a place to nap betweens rounds.

Great! We have two cats. One is a vertical scratcher; the other likes to jump onto the top of the scratching post but not scratch on it. We put this beside the scratching post and rubbed a little of the included catnip on it per the directions. Both cats seem to like it but the one who doesn’t “get” the post really likes it. Saving (what’s left of) our carpets. I like a sisal weave much better than rope; I think it’s better for the cats; and the price is good too. Very happy!

I'm not sure why and, obviously most cats enjoy due to the 4 star rating, but my 2 kitties won't use at all. My orange tabby probably prefers the cardboard which she always used. My bombay kitty has giant knives for claws and will carve anything. I'm real surprised she wouldn't touch this item. I've had it over a month so far and I'll give it a few more months to be fair, and if for whatever reason they start using, I'll change the review. I wish they would use because the material definitely seems that it won't shred into hundreds of pieces like the cardboard scratchers.

simple product that does its job. cats loved it right away - the catnip helped. One fat cat likes to sleep on it so that tells me it's pretty sturdy. The adhesive strips did not last long....they had it moved in no time.Otherwise a good buy - stops the cats from scratching other things

Ma chatte ne s'intéresse pas du tout à cet item! L'herbe à chat qui vient avec cet article n'est pas bon. Il doit être très vieux, il est en poudre et ne sent absolument rien. Heureusement, j'avais de la vraie herbe à chat ici, j'en ai mis, elle a mangé l'herbe mais n'as pas touché au "scratch post"

Bought two, and one was great. Came with nonskid pads, catnip, and a thank you message. The other one was ripped in one place (image 2) missing the nonskid pads, catnip, and they couldn’t even bother to put the thank you note in. Not terribly impressed, but not worth the effort to return.

It's okay.I feels like it's good quality, and the size is good.But my feline hates it. When she tries to claw it, she can't.She used it twice since Christmas, then never again.Maybe she is just picky, she likes the cheap cardboard ones.Will give this to my dad, to see if his cats can get any use out of it. It's a nice scratching box.

Mon chat n'a pas de griffes, et donc elle ne détruit pas le produit quand elle le gratte. Elle semble apprécier la texture et aime bien gratter même si elle n'a pas de griffes. Bon format pour mes besoins. Vient avec deux petits sachets d'herbe à chat et des bandes autocollantes qu'on peut coller sous le griffoir si on veut éviter qu'il glisse sur le plancher.
