The aesthetic is tastefully simple and pleasing, and I have no complaints about the appearance.However, the 3 layered decorative element which makes it visually interesting limits how functional it is at the 8mm diameter size when used for a septum piercing. Since it can also be used for cartilage piercings, this issue could be limited to septum piercings alone. I haven't had a chance to experiment with it otherwise because i can't remove it from my nose.As the product image shows, the part of the ring that fits through the piercing itself is limited to the middle layer. On either side are half rings which create the decorative element. And since the middle layer which goes through the piercing is also the hinge and the only piece of the ring that moves, the rotation of the jewelry is limited to about 1/3 of the total diameter. Depending on how wide your septum is, this is either a minor limitation that is merely annoying when attempting to remove it, or it actually becomes an excruciating, unsuccessful endeavor.The 8mm looks good, so at least until i resort to using jewelry pliers to remove it, the size does not draw excessive attention to the piercing, instead creating a tasteful, subtle suggestion of a simple and interesting decoration.Trying to unclick the VERY STURDY latch is frustrating. Because of the snug fit, the edges of the half ring layers are painful against the inside of my nose.Overall, cute design, affordable price, quality of material is adequate. Downside is the design in combination with such a securely locking clicker mechanism and too small diameter. Based on my experience, I would not recommend the 8mm for septum piercings.

LOVE this triple stacked ring! Unique and it’s a nice snug fit! I’m wearing a rose gold version but also ordered the gold, steel, rainbow and black. Great quality clicker! Absolutely perfect!! 8mm is actually a 7.5mm which is even better for me! Thank you!!

I got the rainbow colored 8mm size. It is very sturdy and I had been wearing 18g for a while so I was a bit worried it would be hard to get in. It unclicked easily enough for me and after about 1 minute I had it in and snapped it shut. If you have a new septum piercing (less than 6 months or so) I'd wait on putting this in because it'll probably cause a bit of soreness. I like the snug fit, but again it depends on where your piercing is on your septum. Mine fits very nicely. The only downside is I wish the rainbow color was less subtle. In the picture on the website it looks a lot more rainbow-y and mine as you can see has a very subtle color, but overall I really dig this style and how it feels. 😊💗

This piece is beautiful and pretty solid for the price. Although it unclicks if I blow my nose. I guess it’s just helping me become more ladylike in that aspect of my life tho.

I LOVE this. I love how snug it is. I have a smaller nose and a lower piercing so this fits perfectly against my face so that my mask doesn't pull on it. But my most favorite is that it stays in place. All of my other septum rings need to be adjusted constantly. They're never hanging straight down and aligned completely straight. The way this ring is built, the stacked part goes high enough around the ring so that it a.) Doesn't look funny when wearing, and b.) It doesn't shift side to side in the piercing. It never needs adjustment. And with taking masks on and off all the time, this helps me feel more confident that if I remove my mask without being near a mirror or having to reach and feel and adjust it, then I don't have to feel worried that a sideways charm is distracting. I love this. Its not overstated but it also has some presence. Its a PERFECT daily wear. Love love love. The hinge and the clicker both work great. Was easy to put in, take out, to clasp and unclear. I have worn it every day without taking it out for about a week now and I've had no reaction, no smell, and no accidentl fall outs or unhookings. Very very very happy with this purchase.

This septum ring is really cute and seems to be well made. When I first got it it was super hard to open so I got some needle nosed pliers and bent it open just enough so it snapped open and closed easily, I was terrified of getting it in and not being able to get it unsnapped lol. Also, keep in mind that it goes in from right to left instead of left to right like I'm used to putting my jewelry in so it took me a little while. Once in it's gorgeous and comfortable and I love it. One thing to note is that my piercing is very low in my nose so it will probably be tighter on others.

Update: I put the 8mm septum ring in right after quarantine began, in mid-March 2020, and I've had it in - with occasional removal for cleaning - since then (writing this in December of 2020). This ring is actually easier to remove then I'd previously thought. It doesn't fall out; it's just easier to remove when I want. It hasn't tarnished or turned any weird colors, hasn't caused any swelling or itching or anything wrong at all. Polishes up nicely after cleaning. This has been a fantastic purchase. I'm really pleased with this ring!I love this thing. I bought the 8mm and the other reviews are right; it fit my septum piercing perfectly - I like mine to fit right up on my skin- but this thing would be darned near impossible for me to remove on my own, and I have a non-piercing friendly workplace, so I'm ordering the 10mm for my usual weekend wear and keeping the 8mm for longer holidays.

I like the snug fit (8mm) but I would have enjoyed it more if it was a diameter of 10mm. The clasp closes easily but it is a little difficult to install. If you have a septum piercing that is higher up in the nose, this will be impossible to wear this jewelry piece. Also, I am not fond of the gold tone—it is dull compared to the picture.
