One-of-a kind critical thinking learning system for children as young as 2
This is NOT merely an "educational toy". It is an amazing learning system which allows young children, regardless of their verbal skills, to get a jump start on sharping their critical thinking skills. In an earlier review of the Beyond123 BambinoLUK Starter Pack I told about how I went from skeptic to supporter for this one-of-a-kind educational toy.I highly recommend this learning system for any one looking to give the young children in their life get a jumpstart in developing their critical thinking skills and early math skills. I also recommend buying the complete system rather than the starter pack and then adding on more booklets later.By ordering the complete set you save money and avoid purchasing duplicate booklets. The first time we purchased a BambinoLuk starter set for our grandson; we ended up spending considerably more by buying the individual book sets, and we ended up with several duplicate booklets. So when we decided to purchase another BambinoLuk, this time for our granddaughter, I went with the "complete set" even if the price tag is a bit tougher to swallow all at once. The recommended age for this product is 3 and up, however it can be easily adapted for children as young as 2.5.-------Please Note: I have included details on several of the titles included in this set in my review of the bambinoLUK Brain Training Early Bloomer Collection Set 1

Very glad I bought these - surpised how challenging some questions were
This is the entire and complete set for BambinoLUK. The books are listed for age 3-5 but you might be able to use them even with a slightly younger child. To use them you must place an open book under a Beyond123 BambinoLUK Controller... then you move tiles from the top to bottom page to answer the questions. These books range in difficultly so kids can work at their own pace. For very young kids and special education... I suggest you buy the age 2 special primary book set as it focuses on the images on those 6 tiles, how to read the LUK icons, how to do LUK self-checking, etc. My just 2 year old really got into the primary books and was then able to do some of the books in this age 3-5 set. However, my son cannot do the self checking and only matches "same to same."Overall, these books so far have really grown my son's attention to detail, but some things seem too high of a level for him like matching opposites or things that go together. Also, some pages are pretty hard for him since he is only two (like matching flowers when all the options are red and yellow - could only tell them apart by the petals/center sizes). Clearly this is meant for 3-5 year olds, but I am very surprised how a little instruction of how to distinguish between objects, then the light goes on and my son figures out the matching.Overall, I am surprised how tricky some of the questions are and how it gets kids to work on that critical thinking / visual perception at a young age by removing the need to write. I personally think they should make a set for 1-2 year olds without the self checking system and to be used with an instructor/adult who does the checking instead. My son would have been very very happy to play this game earlier and for a longer time frame. I intend to buy more from this company.I have organized the books by "difficulty packs" in the following lists...Set 1:- My First Workbook (intro to the type of questions kids will face and helps you explain anything kids do not get at first so they can succeed in the books on their own)- See and Sort- Zoo Animals- Concentration Games- What Belongs Together- Starting to CountSet 2:- Seek and Compare- Farm Animals- More Concentration Games- Think and Associate- Starting to Do additionSet 3:- Identify and Relate- Brainteasers for Kids- What Belongs Together 2- All about Colors and Shapes- Transportation and Traffic Signs

Excellent Tool for Emergent Learners
I introduced the early learning series to my two year old grandson and he took to this like a bee to honey!! He is a curious, rambunctious, insatiable learner who likes to do everything by himself after being shown once.I show him what is expected for different exercises and he takes over!! He enjoys hearing my input and praise as he goes along, but he is thrilled to have a learning tool that he can control by himself. The confidence that this product purports to instill into young learners is truthful. This in itself makes the product a step above many other tools I have used to teach youngsters (I am a specialist in teaching learners with developmental delays). In the process, he is also learning critical thinking skills and basic building blocks on which phonemic awareness, basic math skills, and problem-solving skills are founded. The price is well worth it!

my 3 year old loves it
I bought this for my 3 year old when she was 2. She loves these, and picked up on how it works quickly. She enjoys doing them and the patterns are fun for her. Once she did the easier books she became bored with them. I then moved her to the harder books and she does these over and over.

Great idea
This is really diffferent from other toys. My 4 years old loves it so far. It is very educational and he loves the fact that he can check himslelf if he did the task given correctly. He does not even want me to look when he does it, making him feel very independent! He gets a bit tired preparing the tiles every time so sometimes he does it without the tiles, which also works well, so I would not say the tiles are completely necessary. It is only that he can not self check without the tiles. Definitely would recommend this toy ( although the price is a bit hight, but all the toys are these days.

I bought this set for my 2 year old daughter ...
I bought this set for my 2 year old daughter and although the age limit starts at 3, she was able to grasp the idea of the board game right away. Although she requires constant supervision to play to make sure her tiles are correct, I believe she can play by herself when she is older. The only complaint is that verification of concentric circles method is too difficult for kids her age to understand and the image is too small for parents to see.
