Penny Complete Skateboard (Baja)

Both of my 9 year old daughters bought these skateboards with their own birthday money. One first chose the eightbit brand to save some money after reading solid reviews. After 24 hrs on the board and being able to compare it to the Penny - we were back online ordering the Penny &'selling the 8bit. The girls LOVE these boards!! They are really well made & come in awesome color combos. 5 kids on our street own them and I love watching them ride together! Yes they are pricey, but in my view it helps keep them outside & active! The boards are sturdy & slightly flexible to allow for easy maneuverability. They are small enough to fit in a backpack - this is definitely going to be the toy of the summer! It's going everywhere with the girls - so fun

I'm in my late 20's and have never ever skate boarded. I have a commute that is borderline walkable versus bike-able and thought maybe a skateboard would be perfect. I have never skate boarded a day in my life and was able to pick this up pretty quick. (I have snowboarded most of my life)I watched a few videos on youtube and was up to speed in no-time. This is well constructed and durable. I would highly recommend it. It is very light-weight but solid.

Absolutely adore this board! (But I may be biased, since it's the first one I've ever owned.) Very maneuverable and VERY fast. It took me about two weeks to get the hang of penny boarding, but now I hate walking to work - I'd much rather skate!Flexible, durable and really fast. Only down side is the painted color (I picked the Baja) chips off the edges pretty easily. I think it gives me some street cred though!Other than that, perfectly satisfied!

If the trucks weren't so tight that they put an extra brake on the wheels, my granddaughter would be in heaven. She loves the board but hasn't yet been able to find the right way to loosen the wheel action.

I love this board, it's a nice smooth ride. I've gone miles on it and I love that it's small and I don't need to haul a big longboard everywhere. My boyfriend and I cruise through the city and stop at a place to eat, it makes for a lovely day. I have the mint board with light pink wheels and people compliment it everywhere I go.

Very pretty but the bottom came a little chipped. I think it's from so-so manufacturing quality. Rides well though. Very smooth but turns a lot, which is good if you are already experienced but not the best board to learn on since you have to balance a lot more.

GREAT BOARD! my 11 and 13 year old girls love their boards! definitely recommend this product. oh...and it only took a week to ship to Japan! I can't imagine how fast it would be stateside:)

My daughter got this for the beach and really likes it.. scares me but she's happy
