I bought this cleaning gun to use on rocks and minerals I have collected. It worked for about five minutes. At first, I got a nice tight, high-pressure stream that did a good job at removing calcium deposits on one piece of petrified wood. Then when I started on the second piece, the stream widened and would not adjust back to a narrow stream. The new, widened streamed did not have enough pressure to remove even loose dirt from my samples, let alone calcium deposits. Within a few minutes, the gun stopped spraying water altogether, and I had to go back to using a brush to clean my samples. In all, I used it for about 15 minutes total over the period of an hour. I'm sending this back and strongly recommend against purchasing this item.

Broke in a short period of time. The gun stopped spraying after the second fill of distilled water so I changed the spring and the brass fitting cross threaded when trying to screw the spray nosal back in. I managed to use plumbers tape to mend the issue which worked for a while until the gun clogged and stopped spraying again about a week later

I bought this to clean mineral specimens and it worked great for only three uses. Now it makes this terrible rattling noise and the water has no pressure at all. I will be contacting the company for a replacement.

We use this for detailing and cleaning mineral specimens. But it works on clothes or upholstery as well. So that's a plus

Works great for cleaning rocks and minerals!Ther pressure I have it on does break off slivers of rock so wear eye protection! The threading being so large can make it tricky to get the top on right but be patient and it won't strip. Only thing I sort of wished was that it held more water but if it did, it would be too heavy to hold properly.

This is the 2nd of this same tool I have bought in the last year. The 1st one the piston went bad in it. Ordered another one, after 62 days same exact issue happened... 31 days after the return window closed!! Also only used them once a week, maybe, if that! ONLY used water in them..NEVER ANY CHEMICALS! Maintenanced after every usage, drained, cleaned, dried, oiled parts then stored in the original box. Super frustrated right now...do not waste your money on this product!!

I use this for cleaning dirt and staining minerals from rock and mineral specimens I collect. It's perfect for cleaning dirt from cavities of many of the fossils and crystal clusters I find.
