I enjoy Christina Pirello's books and shows. She is intelligent, funny, and her recipes are very good.I just read her book, This Crazy Vegan Life. The first five chapters are about how we have eaten and lived poorly and gotten ourselves into the health crisis we currently have. Given Christina's other books, there is a good deal of repetition, though she continues to refine and develop her views, and the humor and encouragement of her books are powerful.The sixth chapter is a new selection of vegan recipes and a twenty-one day meal plan.The seventh chapter addresses exercise, and Christina outlines her exercise routine.The eighth chapter is about everything else, including recommended cleaning products.The book ends with a large resource guide.The book is well-written, enjoyable, and health-promoting. If you have her other books, you may want to weight the benefits of getting this one since there is a good deal of repetition.

This Crazy Vegan Life - Wonderful!
I love all of Christina's books, and this one is no exception! This book includes over 100 vegan recipes (with ingredients that are easy to find in any grocery store or health food store). The recipes are not complicated and nutrition information is included at the end of each recipe. There is also a 21-day nutrition and fitness plan which includes sample menus and an exercise routine (with pictures as well as descriptions). The table of contents includes:1. How Did We Get Into this Mess Anyway?2. Veganomics: Rethinking Everything3. The Path to Rethinking Your Life4. Food for Thought5. Eat Well for Life6. The Eating Plan: Menus and Recipes7. Get Moving8. This Crazy Vegan LifestyleChristina's writing style is fun and easy to read. She's been living this lifestyle for a while and she knows her stuff. If you're not already into this lifestyle, this will be a thought-provoking read. Christina saved her life by changing her diet; she is living proof that it works! By changing the way you eat, you can experience positive results too (increased energy, weight loss, improved health and vitality).Thank you, Christina!

Great primer for plant-based eating.
This is a little outdated in some of the ingredients she uses, but it is well organized and full of excellent reasons to eat a plant based diet. And the recipes are all tasty, which is a big plus. Christina is funny, full of nutritional knowledge and cooking skills, which help in the total experience of making a healthy change like this. My blood pressure has already dropped significantly In a few weeks just from eating this way.

Found some good recipes
I'm trying a few recipes because I got about 6-7 new cookbooks all at once. I am a vegan that eats meat. What that means is my doctor told me to give up gluten, dairy, and eggs. Vegan cookbooks are the way to find the recipes without dairy and eggs. I eat less meat now than I ever have but still feel that good meat is alright. I have no ethical reason to give up meat. It was eaten all throughout the Bible and that is my standard.

Christina Cooks Vegan Lifestyle book
If you've ever had a question about anything vegan, this is the book for you. Christina Pirello answers questions you never knew you had. She does this in her quick-witted style that keeps the reader interested to the end. I appreciated the amount of information she packed into this book and the personal story of how she became a vegan herself. This one is a keeper and one that will be referred to often.
