1 Extended Performance Full Synthetic Motor Oil 5W-30, 5 Quart

This has been my oil of choice for the past couple of years. I will be honest i don't buy this oil religiously from amazon. Because at the time of this review, the price has went up to 34 bucks. And the last time i bought this a couple months ago, i believe i paid 28 bucks for a 5qt jug. There are not many other sites where you can actually get this for a decent price so i always check amazon first, before shopping anywhere else. Not only with oil but anything. Amazon really has the best prices for mostly everything i buy personally. But that said i been checking this oil the past couple of weeks and the price stayed at 34 bucks. I will be needing this oil soon as spring time is coming i usually do a spring time oil changes for all my cars, and some of my family members cars. I found one site that kept that low price but i am hesitant on buying it there because i like shopping on amazon instead. But in a couple of weeks when it's time to buy, and amazon still has this for 34 bucks, then i have no choice but to buy it elsewhere. Some might say 6 dollars price jump per jug isn't that much a difference but when one of my cars need 10 quarts, 2 of my other cars needs almost 7 each, then the rest of my family's cars will need a total of about 20 quarts, then it all adds up and that 6 dollar price jump will now turn into 40+ bucks price jump. I don't want to discredit mobil 1 for this review because of the fluctuating pricing on amazon so i will leave it at 5 stars. Because this is a REALLY good oil. There are a lot of good reads found on BITOG which is a forum dedicated to all types of oil talk and scientific proof and reports from experts and car enthusiasts ourselves where you can share you UOA (used oil analysis) reports to determine how well, or not, your oil is doing inside your engine during any given oil run (whether you change at 3k, 5k, 8k, 15k miles etc). I have dabbled with many different oils in my day. But have stuck with Mobil 1 EP. Because my latest UOA's have given me great results. Every car is different while every driver is different. The oils i chose worked well for me. That doesn't mean everyone should live by what someone says. Experiment with an oil, and see if it works for you. For me, M1 EP worked better than all the other oils i tried. That even includes the M1 standard synthetic.

We bought this oil for my husband’s van, and it completely met our expectations. The engine runs quietly, starts easily even in cold weather, and after changing the oil we noticed smoother performance and slightly lower fuel consumption. I also liked that the packaging is secure and easy to open. For this price, it’s an excellent choice for any commercial vehicle. Highly recommend!

My favorite oil at a very good price, delivered straight to my door. I use this in a 2006 Buick with low miles that is like new. I only change the oil every 2 years (1500 miles or so), which is why I choose the extended life synthetic.

I've been using this oil on all oil changes since 1999 when my car would have engine knocking when I approached 75 mph. I Changes my oil with Mobile FS at that time and couldn't believe when I was driving highway I was at 90 mph and my car was running so smooth the dashboard wasn't shaking. Since then never used anything else but the extended performance and high mileage additions. I change it every 6 months at about 6000K. It does burn some oil as all do but not a lot for me and I have been using this on 4 different cars. I don't go the 1 year or 15k as they recommend it can go. I also use KandN oil filters with the easy nut attachment for easy socket removal and a new crush ring for every change. It's great and I return the used oil to walmart for recycling. After 17 years with my car I started adding cleaning additives to my oil changes and that has further improved my current cars performance.

I use Mobil 1 in all my vehicles, 2017 Corvette Z06, 2019 Camaro ZL!, 2015 Porsche 911 Turbo S, 2023 Dodge Challenger Hellcat Jailbreak and a 2021 Silverado LTZ with a Callaway upgrade. I've never had an oil issue with any of my vehicles nor to I expect any, it's Mobile 1, the best on the market in my opinion. Highly recommended.

Do not know what is going on here. I have 3 5 quart. I always shake mine to make sure I get all the additives. That's where I noticed a difference. This one I just got is just like water and my others are noticely thicker. It is 45 degrees so easier to tell. This is like 0w-30 not 5w-30 when shaking. Do not know if it is poor quality control by Mobil, improvement or what. Been using Mobil after switching from Amsoil hype for years and happy. No big deal I suppose but sending it back. FYI, this the only 100% Syn by VOLUME that Mobile makes I think. Over 17% Syn and you can call it 100% syn oil by Feds. The 17% is 100% as they say. Mobile One I think is a blend and that's why I also use that in another vehicle. See how this goes and might go back to Mobile One blend. I also use Schaeffer oil advailable on Amazon I think, in my Harley and very very impressed.

Been using Mobil 1 for about three weeks — engine feels smoother and starts easier. Too early for a full judgment, but first impression is great. Definitely seems like high-quality oil.

Decidí cambiar al Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W-30 para mi Mazda 3 2021, actualmente con 110,000 km, y la diferencia con el aceite de mazda original fue rapida. El motor se siente más suave, arranca con mejor respuesta en frío y la conducción en carretera es más silenciosa. Lo mejor fue el cambio en el rendimiento de gasolina: antes promediaba 7.8 L/100 km, pero después del cambio ahora estoy logrando 6.7L/100 km. Definitivamente vale cada peso. Si quieres mejorar el desempeño y la eficiencia de tu Mazda, este aceite es una excelente elección.
