Easy to install!
The media could not be loaded. I can put my hand on it now if I want to. Works Great for reducing my clearance and keeping the kids from burning themselves. Im a big fan of the Imperial brand, usually high quality, no gimmicks and you get what you pay for.

Cool wall man
Wall behind our new wood stove was getting warmer than I liked. Installed this using safety wire, instead of drilling holes in my new pipe. Works great, no more warm wall.

works okay, beware of sharp ends and hard to fit sliding part
Works okay and reflects the heat as expected. Finish black, a bit glossy and does not match stovepipe matte black. Main concern is that sliding part is hard to adjust, need manual bending. A safety issue : ends are sharp ! To stay safe one needs to smooth sharp ends with sandpaper, otherwise not friendly for human skin.

The perfect stove pipe heat shield.
We have a Medium sized Drolet Wood Stove. Before we added this we were getting a lot of heat on the back wall. The wood stove itself has a back plate that keeps a lot of heat away from the wall, however the Stove pipe doesn't. After adding the pipe shield it stopped almost all the backside heat. It radiates the heat forward. It's easy to install. It has two pieces, an inner and outer shield that slide to adjust for the length you need. The inner goes to the bottom towards the stove. There are 4 tabs to screw in on the bottom and two on the upper shield. The bottom has to be attached first because the top tabs will be inside the upper shield. It's best to remove the elbow of your Stovepipe before installing so you can slide the upper shiled into place, but i just flexed it over until it popped into place then reshaped the shield. the nice part is, if you have a straight pipe all the way up you can slide multiple sets together to whatever length you need.

Works GREAT
We were hoping it would protect out auto garage opener as the wood burning stove pipe is sort of close..... WOW... temperature difference from front of pipe and the back side (where the shield is added) is over 120 degrees! Perfect for us!

you have to drill holes in your existing pipe to attatch.
Looks well made, haven't installed yet, but don't see a problem with it.

Worked Well On Single-Wall Pipe
Easy to adjust length and install. Really dropped the temperature reaching the wall nearest the stove pipe. Nice finish on the part.
