I bought this so my daughter could facetime grandparents during the lockdown, it’s handy having something that can hold the phone a few feet away and record the whole family sitting on the sofa, and the lighting ring just makes it perfect. It’s sturdy and very easily assembled. The power cable has a USB connection so any Apple plug can be used to plug it in.The tripod disassembles so you can use it as a selfie stick, and it comes with a wireless remote shutter which connects to your phone via Bluetooth, which is great for taking photos. The light ring has 3 different colour modes, and you can dim/increase the level of light. Great for face time and selfies, I imagine it would be good for You Tube videos and blogging as well.

Please forgive my sub par commentary!)Okay so we all know that lighting is important when it comes to photography or videography and I have been recently investing in lighting kits and the like for various reasons and I chose this item for its price mainly as I don't own a ring light (well i do now!) and I have heard they are great for make up tutorials and the like! Not that I will be doing that myself but I will be filming myself using my iphone 7plusso this seems to do the trick!It is not sturdy enough for a DSLR as it is only made for mobile phones but you could probably rig up a go pro or something like that if you wanted and I guess that would be fine but there are only attachments for your phone.Depending on the mood of your video or what you are doing you can choose between cool blue, daylight and traditional warm colours (temperature) and also change the brightness settings with the inline remote control.You could plug this into a wall plug such as one which you get with your phone but I used a power bank for the example to demonstrate portability as I can take this away with me and use it wherever I am and get great light now!If you are hesitating on buying one I would recommend this item as a starter light setup as it will do just fine!

Great light, makes your face look better in video calls and photos also makes a good stand to hold phone while doing online workouts!

I was wanting a ring light to do some short videos at home and for such a reasonable price I got some good quality product.The stand was so easy to assemble with clear instructions so it took me like 5 minutes to get the stand all set for filming.I was worried about how stable the stand can stand especially when extending it to the maximum length since I had a tripod before and it was literally dancing all over from the slightest touch when I extend it to maximum length. Luckily this one was sturdy and stable and wasn't shaking so easily so was easy to film with no problem.The brightness is just so right and is has enough light and shades to give best videos and pictures. For the price I would say I got a pretty decent ring light and I am happy about it.

I'm not sure if my product was faulty as I read lots of reviews that said this tripod was sturdy and good quality however mine broke on the first photoshoot I took it to. The tripod leg just snapped in my hand when I was folding it up to move location and I had to try and tape it back on to finish the shoot, alas it didn't work and I had to leave without getting all the shots I needed. I also noticed that it wasn't very sturdy or secure when set on the longest pole setting and I tried to tighten it and the whole head just came off. I'm not Hercules I'm a 5ft 3inch female so It's not like I was using excessive force here! The wireless remote was easy to set up and the light ring was good so it was really only the tripod stand that lets the product down. Unfortunately you can't use any of it without a working tripod. I wanted to request and exchange in case I have just been unlucky and have a faulty tripod but there is no option to do that?

Loved the light but unfortunately the stand is a bit flimsy and would shake all the time when I put my S10+ and the ring light on it. The stand broke within a couple of months. I bought a different tripod to put the light on. The plastic covering the wire is now exposing the wire at the plug after just 3 months of use. The light has been stationary for most of this time. I'm a bit disappointed because I probably won't be able to use it soon if that plastic casing rips anymore, it might become a hazard.If you're looking for a cheap alternative, then go for this as the light itself is great and the bluetooth remote is a bonus. If you need a sturdy stand and a protected cable, then maybe try something else.

Absolutely love this. The stand you can make by the tall you want, so ether you sit down or standing its perfect. Light is really good. So ether for your video blogs, selfies or anything like that will be perfect choice. As well you can use it as a selfie stick, which is another advantage. I am using it already every day a lot. It's perfect, easy to assemble as well. Good product for a good price. Love it. As always thank you amazon for fast delivery.

I seem to spend my life on Zoom and MS meetings currently - this light is fantastic, wish I'd bought it years ago. Sits easily on my desk, yet also extendable to stand on floor, very light, portable, flexible and easy to position. I have a bright window on one side of my home office, and this light balances it out perfectly. 3 different light settings are great for different times of the day, and make my look so much more professional on screen. Am absolutely delighted with it - intend to persuade all my colleagues to buy one, as I am so sick of peering at shaded faces on screen!
