Easy to use and the games are good quality

As indicated in the title. They're going to send you a little adapter to fit a U.S. wall outlet with it. However, aside from being something called "profiteering," which is illegal and a war crime in my books during an international emergency (Ok, probably not for video games but it's the same mentality for the guys hoarding face masks and hand sanitizer), here's why I knocked them the stars:Knowhere in this product's description does it tell you it's the EU model. In fact, from the video and imagery you're led to believe it's the NA version. I'm not even sure if they know the risks this puts the buyer at, but here you go:What you need to know regarding this so I can save you some research:1. The charger is authentic and yes, if you already own several Switches like I do, you can just replace the EU charger with the American counterpart. Output in voltage is identical, it's a USB-C...so no bad news there.2. If you ever experience a warranty issue with your Switch, you're going to be SOL. Nintendo only warrants for the region so... you'd literally need to send this thing to Europe. NA warranty would tell you they can't help. That being said, as these are resales and the warranty only goes 1 year anyway, there's a chance you may not encounter any issues here. (Cross your fingers, hard for this. I doubt the guy that robbed you the extra $130 is going to offer to help.)3. Do not purchase download codes for games. Download codes for games are region locked...if you buy one online for a game and the seller is in NA, this isn't going to work. If you purchase digitally on the Switch store through the console, or use game cartridges, you will be fine however.All of that being said, aside from the inaccurate advertising and a disgusting, inflated price, it came in good condition. I'd have actually given 5 stars if they were up front and told people about these things in the description...but that'd discourage the buy, wouldn't it? So I'm led to believe it was intentional, which is immoral, particularly when charging a premium, so this warrants consequence.

Can I swing by to grab my switch?Bandmate: I tested positive for COVID-19 :(Me: Looks like you just bought a switch then!So that happened, and I ended up buying a Lite (because the regular switch is just too hard to find now) to get some gaming time in. It feels way more durable with the embedded joy cons than the regular Switch with detatchable joy cons did when playing in portable mode (I swear I thought I was going to snap both off when playing Smash Bros on the go!). The screen is slightly smaller, and there's no way to output to a TV, but it's still a terrific system and a very much needed little distraction right now. Note that since it doesn't support TV mode, there may be a few games that won't work on it, so check which modes the game supports before buying.Battery life isn't the greatest - depending on the game I could get 6 hours (West of Loathing) or 2-3 (Zelda) on a single charge.Strangely, mine came with power adapters for various countries, so perhaps it's an international SKU? I didn't check, but that's my best guess.The turquoise wasn't my first choice in color, but since at the time Yellow was out of stock, I bought this color and now am glad I did. I think the yellow would've been too distracting and bright to me. The turquoise is pleasant and brings calm when I play.

My 10 year old grandson is happy as anything now that he has one!He's having a great time with it!

Been using this system for a few days not and I like it, I am not a big gamer so I was not looking to spent the extra 100 for the main model. I am a youth we leader at my church though and with the covid situation I wanted a way to connect with our students. And well in that case it’s been really cool. Some things I do not like is for as far advanced as electronics have come these days I am really surprised that Nintendo did not but a mic or Bluetooth on this. That really blows my mind naturally you would want to play this online so what is the deal with that? Another thing I’ll add is if you have more patience then me don’t buy from amazon, wait till you can find it in a store. I think it cost me an extra $50 just to get it “fast” but I am an impatient American who has been spoiled with Prime. Will I turn around and sell this after we start meeting in person again? Maybe, depends on how long America sucks at this virus, by that time I think we will all be allergic to each other.

Was skeptical after issues with joy con lag on first generation Switch (neon red/blue).Nintendo is ever the underdog as usual, outlasts everyone on handhelds as expected since inception of Game Boy color.Bought through 3rd party.As I was aware prior to my purchase but still a major design flaw — the unit does not have any sort of dock.Furthermore the controllers don’t disengage.The switch lite is a streamlined edition with no frills that provides reliable nonstop gaming when coupled with the additional ($50+) 256GB Sandisk Nintendo Switch Micro SD card.Valuable tool the storage card because you can digitally purchase digital games and digital gift cards from amazon and download them to your Switch Lite.I like the unit and am currently enjoying several games, though I am currently mostly engaged with the new Pokémon. (Fan for 22 years).Tl;dr?No dock, mediocre battery life under duress, really don’t like that Nintendo Switch Online is a subscription based fee.And also, wish the supply chain worked.
