I bought a Gilmour Stainless Steel EZ Click 8-Pattern Nozzle 2 years ago and since then the outer rubber ring on the pattern selector has completely fallen off, the body has been corroding, and the pattern selector leaks. This new version seems better constructed but would really prefer seeing this be a brass body and be a multipattern click nozzle that is truly capable of being used in commercial use. The trigger is plastic as well and an impact or inadvertent foot in the right location will break it or the small rivet holding it in. The previous 8 pattern version used a rubber booted trigger that has held up perfectly well. The head also appears to be plastic and as long it's not banged around too much, probably will hold up but likely don't want to be tossing this in the back of the truck with your other gear or allowing to drop down on concrete or pavers. The number of spray patterns, although 8 instead of 7, is more than adequate. With the previous version, rinse and jet patterns were virtually identical.My main complaint is this nozzle will not last years and years in commercial use and therefore shouldn't be labeled as "Pro".

Had bad experiences with thumb trigger nozzles, usually too tight, hard to turn on and off. This click trigger is much better, also there is a turn nob to control flow. Had 3 in my garden for over 2 years, abused them everyday, no issue so far.

Solid hose

I already own two of these, one for my home and one for my large yard rental. My tenant is magic with the gardens and I have bought her new spray heads for years for her water hoses at three stations. So one breaks and I give her this one. I asked if she liked this model I got her several months ago and she lit up when I said I'll get another one like it. For me, I loved the action so much that I also have it at my house. I use the extreme fine mist for some plants, and aerated hi-flow for other situations, and just the plain medium spray for most. I just love it.
