So far, so good!
I needed to hang some curtain panels, and couldn't find studs in the walls where I needed them, so I went looking for anchor options. I saw these advertised online and decided to try them. S far, they are working well. I needed to use 4 of them in my application. 3 out of 4 went in perfectly and worked flawlessly. The 4th one created a big hole when I put in the screw - the whole Wall Claw started turning with the screw and bore a big hole in the drywall (the diameter of the Wall Claw itself, about dime sized.). Luckily, the hole was big enough so I could see the edge of a nearby stud, so I was able to screw directly into the stud without the 4th Wall Claw. I think part of the issue was my drywall - it's plaster-like in some areas, and the 4th wall Claw didn't grip like the other 3.Overall, I like how easy the Wall Claw is to use, plus, the curtain rod is still holding strong. Thumbs up!

Completely useless
These just didn't work for me. The first one broke as I tried to hammer it in (I made sure it was aligned properly). I drilled pilot holes, even though the whole point of ordering these was to not drill pilot holes, and then made three more attempts to hammer in an anchor. All three snapped into pieces, no matter how carefully I tried to tap them in (maybe it got too hot in storage/shipping? This plastic is really brittle). I'll be sticking with traditional wall anchors.

Easy, Effective
I’m no contractor, but I’ve had to hang lots of shelves and lamps and other assortments on drywall in my time. For medium duty jobs, these can’t be beat. You just tap it in to drywall. If it hits a stud, you drive a screw. The small hole daps easily if you need to cover it later, and they’re usually reusable. Simple. A highly recommended bit of hardware to have handy.

Always punch a hole first with a #1 Phillips screwdriver
These work great IF you know how to install them. You need a #1 and #2 Phillips screwdriver and a claw hammer to install one of these anchors. VERY IMPORTANT- use a #1 Phillips screwdriver to punch a hole in the sheetrock where you want the anchor. THEN drive with a hammer the anchor into the wall until flush. Use the #2 Phillips screwdriver to tighten the screw into the anchor. Regardless of what the instructions say do not drive the anchors into the wall without making a small hole with the a #1 Phillip's screwdriver. You will bend the anchor and ruin it. I have installed many of these using this method and they work great.

Glad I found these
I've only used a few of these so far but I love them. The hole they make isn't as inconspicuous as I was hoping, but I don't care. They are easy to install, and seem to hold weight well. Plus, they're probably the least destructive heavy duty anchor I've come across. Glad I found these.

Ok but…
These work, but driving in the screw is way too tight. Hard to get it in far enough to function without stripping the screw it’s so tight
