This package is a nice way to hear Chet’s mid-career. Thus is the period where he reached well beyond country music fans. At a good price as well. For a new Chet fan, these albums show the groundwork of Mr Guitar, who later did superb albums with Mark Knofler, Les Paul and Tommy Emmanuel.

This set of two disks did not disappoint. Chet Atkins' artistry is featured in a variety of musical genres throughout. Many old favs here and also, many that I had never heard before. Brought back fond memories too, of listening to many of Chet's LPs while still at home and growing up with two guitar-picking brothers who both were huge fans of Chet.Sound quality is better than I expected. Not compressed in spite of being only 2 disks, crystal clear sound throughout.I am particularly enjoying the Caribbean selections! Was there anything played on guitar that this musical genius didn't improve upon? I don't think so.For less than $20, this collection is a real bargain. Relaxing and memorable. So glad I ordered it.😊
