We needed to purchase a nice headboard for our son's bed but we didn't want the cheap chipboard manufactured wood with a laminate on it. I found this one it was and ordered it. Came exactly as ordered, well packaged, perfect condition,m beautiful stained hardwood, very easy to assemble. It took about a half-hour to put it together. It really is a beautiful piece of furniture rather than the usual "will get by until I can afford a nice one" typical garbage available from other manufacturers. I absolutely recommend this. We plan on buying the base for it soon. It has two drawers for storage under the bed and will complete the set. Very pleased!!!

This piece sure warms up a bedroom. It is nice wood, easy to assemble, good instructions. Everything is perfectly aligned and predrilled impeccably. The back is even notched to accommodate that thin back board that stabilizes it.I dropped a star for a couple flaws in the finish and a couple cracks that are immaterial to the structure. Also, the bottom shelf could be 4" higher. I used furniture risers. The orange of the pine finish could be a bit darker/warmer. Glad it doesn't have predrilled cord holes. I can drill my own where it makes most sense to have them.

I really like this bed headboard. It's relatively easy to assemble, but be advised. The instructions will help in a couple of the steps. Made from solid wood from Brazil. It's finished well and I love the color. There is a noticeable wood odor which I found rather pleasant. Two months of ownership and I still like it.

This is not the best quality headboard, but for the price it was worth it. The headboard just sits at the head of your bed, It Does Not Attach to the frame.

Do not buy this. I can assemble furniture like nobody’s business. I’ve assembled most of the furniture in my house. This piece has been torture. It tells you in the instructions that you only need a screwdriver and a hammer. Cool. Got it. Go to take everything out of the box. Lay it out. Start assembling as it shows in the pamphlet. It gets to the point where you attach pieces 04 and 05 to 03 where you use the screws to attach the pieces. Problem? There are no holes started for you. I tried very hard to do it by hand but there are 22 screws to this thing. There is no way I’m doing all 22 by hand. Found my drill and attempted to screw them in with that but the issue with that it angle of how the screws go in and the still lack of and starter holes makes it still near impossible to screw these screws in. The pictures I’ve attached show you where the screws are and then how well they screw in and attach the pieces together. Don’t bother contacting customer service. They suck. Amazon doesn’t help you either. They insist you take this heavy POS to UPS to send it back to them even though it’s partially assembled and can’t be repackaged and don’t offer any other way of making up for selling such a cheap POS for so much money.

First off, this was packaged beautifully-all pieces arrived safe and sound. Color was more beautiful than I anticipated- had a bit more red tint than what is shown in the picture. Directions were clear and simple and I put it together with minimal aid of my 5 year old. One thing to know though- this is designed to go with their bed frame set up. We have a traditional twin bed with mattress, box spring and simple metal frame. It ends up leaving the mattress about 2 inches taller than the lower shelf area. No big deal as it is for my 5 year old and the difference makes him feel like he has a special cubby in the middle area but thought folks should be aware. Love that fact that this is REAL wood!! It does have the odor of varnish about it but my guess is that will air out with time.

You won't find anything nicer for less money. This is solid wood, no crappy plastic veneers here. We purchased the headboard, platform bed with drawers, a tall 5 drawer, and 2 night stands. Pleased with all of it, nearly perfect.

Easy to assemble and looks great! Using this with a pull out /pop up trundle bed so we can't have a bed side table. The storage space gives a great spot to place a lamp, clock and other bedside table things.
