Allied Frame US EMS Certificate of Achievement Picture Frame with Medallion - 8 x 10 Inch Opening

I was searching for a frame with a mat that would hold a certificate and a challenge coin. I searched everywhere for just a frame and a mat with a cut-out for the certificate and also the coin. This item comes with a medallion glued onto the mat below the certificate cut-out. I VERY carefully slid a knife under the existing medallion to remove it from the mat. I did not have any damage underneath it and was able to use a hot glue gun to affix the desired challenge coin in its place. It fit perfectly behind the glass and in the frame when completed. I recommend to anyone seeking the same result. Just be careful removing the medallion so as not to peel any of the matboard when pulling it off. It can be done with no damage.

I was highly surprised when I received the army14x14 (8x10 Document) frame. I ordered it because of all the good reviews saying high quality, I must of gotten a knock of version of what everyone else was getting. It was barely like the description. It was just over 14" and not quite square. There was no double layer matting. Only 2 pieces of green colored cardboard stuck together, warped. Coin was not straight. Best part was the opening was only 9.5x7.25, couldnt even fit my discharge paper which was 8x10 exact, hence why I bought this .. Id use caution when ordering this frame

Used for a Purple Heart award. The only thing that was disappointing was that the mat was rather ragged on one corner, otherwise it was beautiful.

I purchased two frames. One for my Air Force Honorable Discharge and a second one for my Army Honorable Discharge. These frames are gorgeous and very well made. I highly recommend these to any Veteran who wants to display their discharge with Pride.

I've been looking for a certificate frame for my Honorable Discharge certificate for a while now. Many frames out there that have the military logo on them are close to the $100 mark, and I just didn't want to spend that much - but I still wanted a nice frame. When I found this one, I decided to order it and check it out. I'm very happy I did!The quality of this frame is very good. The wood has a nice grain pattern to it, with no scuffs, marks or discoloration. The Army emblem looks great, too. The frame opening fits my certificate perfectly (it's a weird off-size, 8" x 9 3/4"). The overall look of the frame with the certificate is handsome - the green matting offsets the dark wood, metal emblem and certificate nicely. The frame can either be hung on the wall, or there is a tip-out stand attached to display on a shelf or table.Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. And the price is quite reasonable. I would recommend this frame to other servicemen and women looking to frame their military certificates. I got the Army one, but I see that Amazon.com carries the same frame for other branches of the military.
