Easy to set up
It was easy to set up you have to make sure its placed where the sun shines on it. It worked for a year and I left it outside I guess the motor fan got knocked out of place and it made a grinding noise without pumping water through it. I enjoyed it while it was working though.

Cute Little Fountain!
The media could not be loaded. Cute little fountain! I don’t know if you all have been blasted by a number of ads on your different social media feeds, but I was. And something like this was one of them that certainly intrigued me. It’s been a very dry spring, and I have been wondering if the birds all around us were feeling the pain of it. I did not get the top of the line because the more expensive versions seemed to shoot the water super high in the air. I just wanted a little trickle. The day I ordered this I went to Lowe’s and bought one of their concrete bird baths. I wanted to make sure the wind wouldn’t knock it over. While I was in line, a lady said the one I was getting was too shallow for these solar fountains so I spent a lot of time considering getting a deeper one, but they all looked rough, and in the end decided to go with the one that I thought looked better. I figured it was possible the fountain wouldn’t work well, so wanted to at least have a decent looking bath. The fountain arrived the day after I ordered it, was thicker than I expected (the water filter in the bottom adds another maybe .4 inches to the depth) but after figuring out which head we wanted on it, we tookIf the clear plastic solar panel cover, pushed the head pieces on, and put it in the fountain. The sun was out and after about 10-15 seconds the water started coming through in earnest. The height of the spray is exactly what I wanted, it has *just* enough water depth (we’ll be checking/filing twice a day when we water our vegetables, so shouldn’t be a problem) and is quite nice when the sun is on it. As others have said, it will either spurt or stop altogether when there’s no direct sunlight, but that’s okay with me. So... Day 1 and I like it!Would be nice to have a battery that can power when no sun, thinner so we don’t have to worry about the water level as much, but if it just lasts through the summer, I’ll consider it a win.

No fountain more sprayer
It has a good solar power. It only spits water. Even with attachments there is no fountain motion.

Antique Birdbath Gets An Upgrade!!
I’ve been dying to restore the antique birdbath outside the house I rent part of as it’s located in the middle of a horseshoe driveway’s island. It’s exact location being at the very front of a farmer’s market that’s existed for as long as I can remember and gets a ton of traffic on the weekends, I sooo wanted it to be something people would leave a nice comment about in the “suggestion box” that seems to always be full of comments & not the suggestions that the box’s name implies but as long as they’re not threatening or anything they’ll read and post the better ones on the website and after adding the fountain to the antique birdbath, they’ve gotten several saying it’s a nice “added touch”, questions on whether it’s always been there, and a few others of this nature. I’m definitely very pleased with the results of the fountain and not having to worry about any electrical issues is a pleasant little bonus for me (& the bathers I’m sure!).You do have to make sure the surface you’d like the pump to stick to so it’s under the water is a clean & DRY surface before it’ll stay “stuck” to it but, after a couple of floats, drains, drys, & redos... it’s been nothing but a pleasure to hear about and a total joy to watch the birds enjoy some relief from the unnaturally hot/humid weather we’ve been having lately. On behalf of the various wildlife living around the “Farmer’s Market” (a family of deer has discovered that they can get a drink during the night with no worries of being “harassed”, LoL) as well as myself, thanks for helping to create one of the “little things” I do enjoy more than most other (bigger) stuff! THINK YOUR PURCHASE THROUGH BEFORE YOU BUY IT, NEEDS SUN CONSTANTLY!
This little fountain works great...if the sun is shining. It does not store electricity in a battery, it is basically either sun shining and working, or if a little cloud goes by, it stops working right that moment. And that is ok, I just didn't realize it. I bought it for a bird bath, and to have it run, it must be in the sun, and in the sun the bird bath is about 100 degrees and I haven't seen a single bird go near it since I put it there, lol! If I move the bird bath into the shade, the fountain stops working. I just thought it would store sunlight and work a little bit without it. Otherwise, I've been using it daily for well over a month, and it is working great. Also, the "fine mist" in my "not a birdbath" blows all the water out, so I took the head off and just let it do a little 3-inch fountain instead, since I had to constantly fill up the bird bath with the slightest breeze...with the fine attachment, the water blew right out. Well made, just think your purchase through!

needs to be in a sunny location
The fountain is really nice. It works great when the wind isn't blowing. That's not a lot where I'm from. I should have put it in a more protected area, but on calm days it really looks nice and the different spray patterns are nice. I found the one I liked and it does it's job. We had to put a flexseal layer in a leaking birdbath and the suction cups work great on that. In spotty shade in the afternoon, it pulses instead of free flows but that's ok. If the wind is blowing, you have to watch the water level in the container because the water will blow over the side from the spray and you will lose your water fast. Other than that, I really enjoy the sound and sight of the fountain. I wish it stored up energy to compensate for the shady afternoons, but that's ok.
