We just opened up this bag. What is this white stuff? This is the second bag we have purchased, and we did notice anything like this the last time. Help? we’re certainly not going to eat it unless we know what is going on!!!

The quality is OK, a three start, but the $5.75/lb price makes it a good value.For a gourmet quality product I like the Auzoud Oil Cured Black Olives that are about $9/lb, but not as salty, sour and wet as these Roland Kalamata wedges.

Salty, but great for Pandemic shopping
The brine these olives are shipped in is very salty- these are not the Olomouc get at an olive bar in an upscale grocer, but for pandemic times- they are a LIFE saver!

Pretty good value
These are reasonably good value but are very salty and have a few fragments of pits. I put them in water to get the salt out.

Very good olives
I really underestimated the volume of 5 pounds of olives.They are really tasty though. Just as good as the more expensive kalamata olives at the store
