This is a good “light use’ unit.
I found this to be a very good cost effective item. I found it very useful, and well worth its low price. I would rate this as a good unit for light home use, but not for heaver professional use. By light home use I mean only once a day measurements or less. I purchased the unit to compare it to my automatic unit and to see if I could perform a manual measurement, and the unit enabled me to do both. The stethoscope is a basic model without a horn, but it worked quite well with the sphygmomanometer, however, I doubt that it would stand up to heavy use. Also, when I tried to use it to listen for the pulse I had difficulties hearing anything, but no difficulty when the cuff was inflating. Initially I found that the ear pieces hurt as the pressure being allied was too great, but I rectified this by pulling open the U-shaped strip that held the rubber arms in place. To be fair, the stethoscope is almost free relative to the cost of sphygmomanometers and cuffs themselves, so I was not expecting much. A good stethoscope can run $100 or much more, so I expected and received a very basic device, good for use with the cuff, but perhaps not as good for other uses. The cuff has a D ring which aids in its use. There was some leakage of air as the cuff was inflating, which could be eliminated by tightening the screw controlling the leakage a bit more, but this made a self-measurement difficult as it was more difficult to loosen the screw while holding the stethoscope with the other hand. However, a slight leakage on inflating the cuff did not impair inflating the unit enough to cause a cession in the pulse rate. However, I anticipate that the valve may give me greater problems with more use, hence my low use designation. This unit did all I expected of it – allowed me to see if I could use a manual device and gives good light duty service.

Definitely Recommend for Training Purposes
This is a great BP cuff. It's accurate and easy to use. I used it for my CNA training and also for taking patients' BP at work. The price is exceptional. Only downside is that the earpiece hurts after wearing it for a couple minutes.

If you want something for daily use, do NOT buy it.
As a health care provider who has used manual sphygmomanometers for considerable period of time, I would give this product 2 stars. Although this device is accurate, the quality of the material is very low. In addition, the stethoscope that comes with this product is not comfortable. It is painful, I bet you can't keep it in your ears for more that couple minutes, this is an important point if you were not expert and able to take the BP really fast without needing of double check. The cuff is too large even for some adult people, so if you are a skinny person look for something else. I would say if the purpose of having this device is to monitor a chronic condition, buy something worths which is comfortable, accurate and last for long time. However, if you need it just for occasional usage of to check the accuracy of your electronic device, go with this one as the price is low and your usage is limited.

Great combo
I've been a nurse for 31 years and used my nursing school BP cuff for 25 years (until it got a hole in the bladder and no longer worked.) I never replaced it, but my mom has been having some BP issues. She checks her BP on an automatic cuff daily. I wasn't sure of it's accuracy so I ordered this one. I couldn't beat the price and the combo of the cuff and stethoscope is super convenient. It's compact enough to carry in my bag. I would recommend it for basic personal use, not sure it would be durable enough to use professionally with heavy use.

Batter than I thought it would be.
Perfect for my occasional use at home. I like the stethoscope even though some mention it hurting the ears. I found that at first, it was a bit tight but it was easy to adjust by bending the metal "u" shaped piece outward. It is strong, bendable metal so there was no worry of breaking it. Now the ear pieces fit snug but not too tight. The plastic earpieces are made of a soft plastic, so I can squeeze them a bit, but not much. I can hear the systolic and diastolic beats easily on the arm. When I listened to my heart, I felt the scope did not hear that great and the room needed to be real quiet. But you can always but a netter one if you like. The cuff fits well and velcro holds well during inflation. The readout is clear and seems to be good quality. The bulb works well and metal deflator knob seems solid. For under $20, this is an excellent deal. Just know that you didn't spend a lot on this package so don't expect commercial quality. I can easily say I got more than my money's worth out of this BP cuff and stethoscope. I'm happy and I paid full price.

Really should be zero stars, I've already returned it
You can barely hear through the stethoscope, which is essential for using a sphygmomanometer. The gauge also froze as the pressure reduced, so there was no help watching the needle to determine pressure. And yes, I have used both a stethoscope and a sphygmomanometer before.
