Cleans better than what I was buying at Wal-Mart.I have 2 dogs,and 2 cats. I don't often pre treat ,and with this product,I'm not worried that I didn't.for me,it's worth the price. I can use less than my Bissell requires,and get good results.

Great value, great performance, will buy again. Remember to test first (but I've never had any problem on modern carpets). Also, pretreat high traffic and spots! I like to rinse with some hot water and a little rubbing alcohol for longest-lasting clean (again pretest because some carpets will come apart with alcohol).My son took apart his Fors Mustang in our family room while we were out of town, and this did a fantastic job getting grease and dirt out (but some particularly soiled spots did take multiple treatments as they recollection dirty).

This is an excellent product. The cleaning action is superior, without the sudsing problem. I will purchase additional units in the future, and suggest you try it now.
