Flower School: A Practical Guide to the Art of Flower Arranging Hardcover – November 10, 2020

I love this book as it has taught me many basics to flower arranging which have yielded some very successful, easy and pretty bouquets in my house. I’d love to attend the flower school, but alas reality is such that I’ll just read this book!

I bought this book thinking it would be a beautiful coffee table display. I find myself picking it up and reading how to make arrangements. Easy and I feel confident in my displays!

This book is very informative for how to arrange flowers of different sizes and in different ways. The pictures are beautiful. It makes you want to go to NYC and take a class.

I love this beautiful and informative book. It is a dream of mine to actually attend an in-person class but until then I will study every page of this great book.This is a perfect gift for anyone.... It is beautiful as a coffee table book, a guide to flower arranging and full of beautiful photographs to inspire.Five stars from me!!!!!

Fiiiinally! This book gives you proportional and practical guidelines for arranging the flowers that you have. No more recipes calling for "10 blooms that you can't find unless you are a professional" or "12 foliage sprays you can't get unless you have a big yard AND you are a gardener OR you are a professional florist with a wholesale license who can order ANYTHING you want in quantity." *phew!*Instead this book tells you what kind of vase to use with what kinds of blooms and why. How to proportion the stems to fit that vase. This is all I wanted to know, but most books just ask for very specific flowers that I can never find in my local flower shops (I don't live in New York and do not have a wholesale license--I envy you if you do but I don't!)I regret to deduct one star but it's only for the aesthetics of the arrangements. I agree with one reviewer that some arrangements look "old". Some of them look slightly dead. I actually hated some of them! But this is a matter of personal and temporal tastes, which are changeable.This book give you the basic knowledge and tools to make your own arrangements out of whatever you can find or have on hand, and I've been looking for such book for a long, long time.

Good read with easy to follow steps and concepts. The photos are lovely. Would recommend if you’re newer to floral design
