A great hammer when I’m
This is a fantastic, durable, and useful hammer. I own a boulder opal mine in the outback of Australia. When I’m mining, I use this hammer every day. I depend on the tools I use. My tools have to do the job. This hammer is comfortable and well balanced. It’s just the right size and weight. The chisel end has held its edge surprisingly well and has remained sharp. The opposite side is a very useful hammering surface. It’s not cheap, but it’s well worth the price. It’s built to perform and to last.

Excellent hammer. Really no complaints. I also have the blue 22 oz model which has a bit larger head and wider chisel end. Probably the best all steel brick hammers on the market. Reasonable price considering it’s more likely to get stolen than actually wear out. I have a few vintage wood handled ones of another brand which I use sometimes too but typically stick with the Estwing

It's hard to get excited over a hammer
Yes, it's a hammer. You strike things with it that you intend to break or cut. It doesn't need to look perfect or prompt you for a software upgrade. But it will never run out of batteries and chances are, unless you lose it, this hammer will be with you until the end. Sure, you can find a generic masonry hammer for less, but this is worth every penny. The balance and shape of this tool is so nice to me. The feel of the handle, the squared edges, it's all just right. Then there's the benefit of it being made domestically. We've been using it to break and remove old mortar from the stone foundation of a 130 year old house, and it's just right. Don't settle for less. Buy this one and you will not be sorry.
