SPANX SPANXsculpt Power Series High-Waisted Mid-Thigh Short - Lightweight, All-Day Comfort - Core Control Shapewear

I was honestly quite worried when I ordered this product, because I'd read some mixed reviews about the fit. I know that SPANX are incredibly snug, but that's what I wanted. That being said, I wasn't sure if I'd be okay ordering a size below what I would measure for. I had a week to find shapewear so I could wear a really cute dress to a friend's wedding, so I took a massive leap of faith and just crossed my fingers that I'd fit in this. I did. I didn't see any reviews on Amazon or Torrid about sizing beyond a 3X - so here is mine. The package notes a 3X as such: Weight : 305 - 325 (lbs) Waist : 45.5 - 48 (inches) Hips : 54 - 56 (inches) I don't know my exact weight, but it's on the higher end of the 300s. My waist is 47", and my hips are 64". I fit in the 3X, comfortably so once I got the SPANX on properly. I didn't have a problem with rolling at all when I had someone help me straighten the back of them, but when I originally tried them on, I wasn't thinking of that aspect and they did roll down. It's best to have someone to help you if possible, because it made a world of difference. Like I mentioned, I wore these to a wedding. I was in them for about 9 hours without taking them off or pulling them down and they stayed stationary, snug, and comfy. Putting these on was the most complicated thing I've ever done when it comes to my wardrobe. I have to have someone help me pull it over my booty, but once the SPANX are on, they're on, and they're surprisingly comfortable. All in all, if you're like me and you measure larger than a 3X but want to try them anyway, I encourage you to do so. I wouldn't recommend it for someone who is much larger than I am, for worry that they may not properly accommodate, but if you're local to the size that I am or a bit off, you should be safe.

I liked that this product was comfortable and fit well. I was able to pull it up to bra line for smooth transition. It didn’t turn me into twiggy but I felt supported and it hid a few curves I didn’t want to show! Not a fan of the sizing. It seemed fairly accurate to what they listed for your measurements. However they labeled them much bigger than my dress size (only bad for my ego and those that are larger than the 3X measurements they go up to.)

Spanx is always my go too. More durable than the rest by far

I have been wearing these particular spanx for ten plus years, the last 5 years the material was constantly breaking at the butt seam. Recently, I think they may have changed their fabric or reinforcement because the last few pairs that I bought, I have had no tearing or pulling or any signs of busting open, which has been a welcome change. I also did notice that they changed the waistband it used to have a silicone gel like material around the whole thing now it’s only on the back and there’s also a tag and the package itself does not come in the spanx box like a pantyhose used to and now just comes in a bag with a tag which is fine I’m not paying for the box. I’m paying for the spanks themselves Overall I’m happy with the new changes. Let’s hope it stays that way. I have tried 1 million other shapers trying to replace these and I cannot find anything and continue to buy these.

Make sure your skin is completely dry

Very bizarre fit! Extremely difficult to get on, then when you do get them on, they are for a person with a four foot long waist. Then, they roll down. Not good. Maybe they only work on skinny women? I'm 5'4 and 244lbs.

Comfortable! As a chubby gal I like the idea of being able to smooth my fat rolls out so my dresses look better. I bought this particular one because it goes high enough and has the legs so that my thighs don't rub together. Who likes chubb rub... not me! I'm 5'10 weigh about 290 I bought a 3x and it fit me really well. I carry most of my weight in my hips, butt and thighs. I was able to wear this without issue and a little wiggling to get it on.

this is so much less comfortable than my other brief one. it slides down my back and also make my torso feel like a sausage.
