There is no delicate way to put this, but at these prices Aeroquip should at least send flowers or candy the next morning. It's a lot of money for two tiny pieces.To make matters worse NPT has a tapered thread. These plugs seem straight sided. I had to run the Aeroquip plugs through a taper die before using them.I guess this is the only game at Amazon if you want a compact and and unobtrusive way to plug a 1/4" NPT opening. I really would have been happier with a 316 stainless NPT plug but this was all I could find with the hex drive.On a more positive note, they are a pretty blue and don't have a "made in China" sticker.But it still feels like a date gone bad...

Per other's comments, these are not labeled correctly. I received 1/2" NPT plugs in packaging labeled 1/4 IN PIPE PLUG.

Not sure if this is a good or bad thing, but I stripped two of these out with a short enough Allen wrench without even getting halfway into a manifold and my other aluminum parts had no trouble going in and making a good seal.

Very nice plug with supreme quality. I used it to plug the oil outlet galley in my vw motor that has been full flowed.

Be carefull with these. They strip pretty easy if your not careful. Definitely dont use a ball end allen to tighten them.

This was NOT 1/4 npt.. Bag marked 1/4 but I actually received 3/8npt plugs... worthless.
