I had a friend recommend this knife to me for cleaning redfish, tripletail, etc. The first thing I noticed was the handle. It is comfortable, well made and is offset, so the blade can chop or slice without your hand making contact with board. The blade is extremely shark a cuts through scales and bones with ease. It has a sharp tip for initial cuts down back of fish.

No sheath, not very sharp great design though almost made themselves a proper knife. I would give 20$ more or more if this was A-sharp,B-came with a sheath and we will see how this shinny blade holds a edge. I have a feeling this thing will dull quickly.

These fillet knives are Awesome and do a Great job on all fish including inshore and large offshore fish.

Seems like it is made well, will revise after I get to use it, however IMO, with no sheath, it only gets 3 stars.

I'm the first mate for a party boat and some drunk guy got mad about something and threw my knife overboard. So I got this - I use this knife every day (for two months now) to cut fresh, thawed and frozen bait. Works well on all, and I haven't had to sharpen it yet. Wish the handle were thicker though - then it would be 5 stars.

Needs to have a little more aggressive serrations and come with a sheath but it has a great handle and great blade quality
