Bat-Safe Mini Battery Charging Safe Box

Seems safe and the whole family had a laugh at the name and bat symbol on it. Good value for money if it works. Pass through for cables was hard to get cables through as it was already installed in the case.

As soon as I took this thing out of the box I knew it'd do the job well. Don't cheap out on something like this, I was tempted too- even cancelled my order once but I am glad I followed through. The cheap Temu "fireproof" bags they have here on Amazon will only delay your house being burned down for an extra 5 seconds. Spend a little extra and actually be safe, it also has a large filter too which blocks the poisonous fumes if it burns.Wish it was a little cheaper but you get what you pay for, don't cheap out on safety.

Around 9AM, my wife walked into the garage and smelled something "melty". We could not find the source by sniffing around for 5 min.About 9 hours later, I went back to change out the lipo batteries that I was setting to storage voltage that morning around 7:30 AM.Yes, the Bat-Safe had held in the fire in itself and *filtered* the smoke so it was hard to know it saved my wife, my son and me. The smoke detector next to the Bat-Safe did not go off either. I work at home so I would have heard it.Need to buy 3 more!!! Highly recommended for anyone needing to discharge to storage voltage or to fully charge their LiPo's and most importantly keep themselves and their family safe from a lipo fire.

This box is almost well designed, except that running wires is practically impossible. The picture in this add does not represent what I received as it has a hard rubber port in the lid that is nearly impossible to get wires through. If you route the wires as shown (between the lid and body) they will likely be damaged. If they could somehow fix the wire routing issues this would be a great box, but unfortunately I feel like I wasted my money and I can not recommend.
