Easy, quick, and effective
Easy, quick, and effective. I had to double flare a rear brake line that was still attatched to my truck and in a tight space that the old wing nut style wouldn't fit into so I gave this one a shot. Laying on my back under my truck, in the driveway, in a tight spot up against the frame with about 3.5 inches of line to work with, this tool did a perfect, easy, double flare. Well worth the money spent. Highly recommend.

Great tool and easy to use.
Have formed over 6 lines with double flared ends and have had no problems. Just cinch down line after getting it aligned with their tools and follow their instructions. This works great. just remember to add the lube so ends have easy time forming. Also dont be a Gorilla, just cinch tight. You know when its firm and you don't have to scrunch it more. I have used in vice without handle and with handle alone and both formed the fittings well.

For the money best tool out there
Best flare tool I could find at a very reasonable price considering it's used for flaring tubing I used to replace a splice in my break line on a E250 only heads up the new break lines come with a nylon like coating you have to get that off for the tool to hold from backing out when flaring other than that excellent tool

Works far better than most
This brake flaring tool works far better and easier than other high rated devices that I tried. Every single flare came out perfectly even on steel. Both inverted and bubble flares were easy to complete. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend
Excellent flaring tool!!! This far exceeds expectations compared to any other flaring tool that I have tried aside from super expensive ones. I love that the handle is removable allowing the flaring plates to be mounted in a vise, which is really the best way to use this thing. Double flares were excellent every time.I can’t say how easy/difficult it would be to use without a vise and only using the handle but the handle does appear well made with a comfortable grip. Keep in mind this only handles one size of tubing 3/16 but if you’re just making brake lines for a project car, this is perfect without breaking the bank.Don’t waste your time with those cheap, multi-size flaring kits, you’ll end up with a lot of wasted tubing and a whole lot of wasted time, do it right the first time, I wish I had but so glad I gave this one a shot, worth every dollar!

Works; with a little experimentation
Did at least 20 test pieces but my flares still came out lopsided and sometimes overly "squished". Then I decided NOT to slide the tubing all the up to the positioning bolt. I left a little space between the end of the brake line and the positioning bolt. BINGO! Perfect flares every time now. Just need to experiment with how much of a gap to have between the brake line and the positioning bolt.

Best out there!!!
Verry easy to use one of the best ones out there for flaring brake lines on the car. Been 2 years and still no problems so must have flared them right.
