This shampoo tray inflates quickly and is a nifty idea. A drawback is that it allows water to leak down the back and even the front of the person who's hair is being washed. This product cannot be tightened enough around the neck to prevent this. And the channels that come under the ears to the jawline, tilt down and fill with water and then overflow down the front. If you can press on the neck edge neck with your hand while you are pouring water on the head, the leakage can be minimized. Also if you use your free hand to channel the water away from over the ears and forehead, you minimize the front leakage. If you are shampooing a person who cannot hold up their head or sit upright this product will be difficult to use without a complete clothing change afterward. It's okay, you need to direct the water every time though.

We bought this to use with a person who was incapacitated with ALS. We tried one of the hard plastic ones that are sold all over Amazon and it was worse than useless. Would have been better not using it because it leaked so badly. This inflatable tray is totally the opposite. She stayed completely dry during her hair washing and not a drip was spilled. It sealed around her neck and was comfortable for her. When I say dry, I mean completely dry. Not one bit of water went where it shouldn't. We were very happy because we didn't have to do a bunch of cleanup after and didn't have to mop the floor, either. I highly recommend this tray for use with anyone, not just a person who can't move.

I bought this for my mom who has a curved back and hard to fit in the sink when shampooing her hair. As a hairdresser I’ve been looking for years to accommodate people like my mom. This product works good. The only negative I might say is it could be a bit flatter on both sides of the neck.

I purchased this to assist in washing my mother's hair as she's in a wheelchair. This product helped a lot with washing her hair at the sink. It was actually a little too short to use with the wheelchair, but worked with her walker beautifully. The neck strap was somewhat tight, but as she's very large this didn't surprise me. I put a towel around her shoulders and that absorbed the little bit of water that spilled. Overall this was a very successful product.

This has made shampooing my daughter's hair much quicker and more tolerable. She is seven years old and it fits her perfectly. I am not sure if it would work for an adult.

Purchased this for my Grandson who has very long curly hair that is very difficult to wash. Using a bar stool at my kitchen sink and him up on a pillow this tray works remarkably well. It guides the water into the sink and not on the floor. He is quite comfortable and his hair washing has become painless. Great product, easy to blow up and stores well.

It actually works pretty well for my older gals who can't lean back.

I'm in an electric wheelchair and have great difficulty transferring to shampoo chair. This item was comfortable and enabled my hairdresser to shampoo my hair with no stress for either of us.
