I wrote a detailed review about how bad this box is, and they deleted it, so we'll see if this stays up.Basically, I got a cheep pick-nick kit. A pick-nick backpack and a plain cloth "hippy" hammock are simply not tactical gear.

Depending on what level you choose the items being provided could be hit or miss. I selected "Premium" and after two boxes of random provided items, I think about 35-40% I could use. This is not "military grade" type pieces nor should this be considered a monthly box of tactical goodies, gear, or items you could use on the range of outdoors. For 175+ dollars a month I am likely going to cancel as you the customer have no real ability to select items you may want, it really depends on who is packing the specific month's item. If you are a military-retired individual I would hold off on purchasing this box as likely you could go to several sites and get the items for your weapon, personal survival set-up, and other tactical related gear which could be verified as "US made" and durable. I received two items of decent value, a good flashlight and a decent knife. The picture on Amazon gives the impression that each box typically has this much gear packed inside, this is not the cases for the second highest tier of boxes offered. I have the "Premium" level and it usually has one or two mid size items and a lot of smaller pieces of gear. If you seek the "Legendary" level you are spending 550 dollars plus shipping for a small crate but for that much I could select a number of decent scopes, gear, attachments for weapons, knives, etc. I think I will check my 3rd box coming in and if it is still not that noteworthy I will cancel my subscription. Just be cautious before you sign up because some of the items you really do not need nor will want depending on your purpose and use.

I do not think that the value of the contents was worth the subscription. The products were great for someone who is new to bugging out or preparedness, but I found the contents to be duplicative of items I already have...and have not yet used. Overall, a decent box for the beginner; I was unable to appreciate the value, however.

Not the best box I’ve ever ordered

After watching unboxing videos and seeing the photos of a past box in a review, I thought I’d give it a try. Extremely disappointed. Other than a small pair of binoculars, everything else was junk. Beef jerky sticks, a bar of soap, a bottle opener and cheap dollar store “survival gear”. If box was so bad, I didn’t even want to try and deal with returning it. Can’t imagine how that would go. I actually threw some of it away. Value is no where near $175. No knife, no item over $20. Cancelled subscription day I got the box.

This is just a way to supplement what I already have, without having to think about it too much. Two is one, one is none. it’s nice to have extra items of quality that you already have. I received some binoculars that where very good for glass and compact. A bite/sting kit I did not know was out there. I have been packing using a Sawer for years, this one seems a bit more evolved to get the job done if needed. I’ve lived in the north west all my life and camp/hunt often. I haven’t bought anything new in a few years so I thought I’d just see what shows up and add if needed to my kit. So far very good..

So I’m not much of a “military” person but I do like outdoor stuff. That being said The first thing I saw when I opened this box was this acrylic rank holder thing and it was just something that held these ranks. So I did research and now think that’s pretty cool. I guess you rank up and get free gear and you can fill this plaque up and receive cool stuff. Now to the gear. I like technology and I got some cool micro camera. I really really like the hammock with Mosquito netting. Some fire starting stick and one kick butt flashlight. Obviously I know about benchmade knifes and know the one I received was atleast 120 bucks. That’s about 20 dollars cheaper than what I paid for the WHOLE CRATE. Very pleased and excited for the future.
