Good unit but get the owners manual online to set it up
Put this unit in my boat to replace a non bluetooth unit and I also included the wired remote. Wiring was super simple only negative is the instruction sheet that comes with it is lacking. After installation I could not get it to function properly so I reached out to the seller who responded within an hour (excellent CS) he said it sounded like it was still in demo mode and that on page 5-6 it says you have to do a reset after initial power up. I followed the instructions that came with the unit and it talks about the demo mode but says nothing about the reset. The full owners manual is available online and gives the full procedure for the reset after which the unit works as it should as well as the wired remote

Easy installation
I bought this head unit for my 93 Harley, and was able to install and wire it up in less than an hour. Simple, clear operating instructions, and great performance so far. Pioneer makes a great product.

New sounds
I'm not use to using this new technology, It's not so user friendly, but I only want the bluetooth to work. After I get use to it, I'll get the radio to work.

No Power Handling, Weak Amplifier, Clips Out
Got this radio for my small boat. The amplifier clips out and the unit turns off at a moderate volume (not loud). I checked the ohms on the speakers and they were right at 4, so it isn’t a speaker problem. I have it driving 2x 40W Kenwood marine speakers. Tried a second unit, same problem. The unit is extremely light - didn’t surprise me when it started clipping out. Advertised as a 50W radio - actual wattage is 14W x 4 channel RMS. Not the Pioneer product of past. Disappointed and stuck with it since the return window is past. Will update this review if Pioneer makes it right.

This was ridiculously easy to install and sounds great! At this price point, I’m thrilled. Thanks Pioneer!

Wish I had a remote
Sound quality is great, but for some reason the marine stereos don't have remotes. This would be a very handy thing on a boat.
