So, as with so many others,pandemic related isolation boredom had set in.I decided I wanted additional piercings for my ears and since I am high risk, did not want to go to a shop. I was not piercing cartilage so I decided to take on the task myself. After some research, I found these.I was a little afraid at first...it took me a week to get brave and do the deed.It was SO easy! The hardest part was getting the markings properly spaced prior to the piercing.Once I had my ears appropriately marked, the rest was fast, simple and relatively painless. (I did ice my ears before piercing). Even the alcohol pads were included to pre-clean.It has been almost three weeks since I added the 4 extra piercings. I followed the standard daily cleaning protocol for earlobe piercings and everything is healing very nicely.I don't think that these are recommended for cartilage piercings but they worked well for lobe piercings.I noticed that there were some complaints about the unit jamming because of the backing and getting stuck on the ear. This did happen with my last piercing. It took about 30 seconds to work it loose and I added the back manually. If I were to do this again I think I would remove the backings from the unit and add them after piercing the lobe. The other three units worked perfectly.I'm thrilled to have found these.

I LOVE this product. I saw it on Tik Tok and decided to take a stab at doing it myself. I get super queasy when it comes to this stuff, so I had initially asked a friend to do it but then felt bold and did the first one myself. It was SO simple. It comes with a little blue rubber thing that you put into the top of the cartridge before you load it into the clamp (I didn't see it at first so I was confused, but then saw it in another package and knew where to put it). When you do it on your ear it is so simple....a little pressure and BOOM its in. Relatively painless. I did 3 on my own ear and my 9 year old's ears. I highly recommend this product and plan on buying another pack to do more on my other ear.

i gave myself 3rd and 4th lobe piercings with these and they were so easy to use and painless!! they came in sterile packaging which i really appreciated and after the initial sting i didn’t feel a thing! it’s only been a few hours and there’s no pain, i can’t even tell i pierced them!

Absolutely loved this product, very easy to use. I iced my ear before I used the product, it didn't bleed or get infected after I used it. (this is key because I have sensitive skin and am allergic to nickel/copper/most metals in jewelry). I recommend cleaning with isopropyl afterwards. When you mark and pierce the spot on your ear, be prepared for a really loud sound i was alarmed by the sound but it didn't hurt which was fire. I wouldn't use it to do a cartilage. I would stick to ear lobe

between being hard to use and falling apart easily, 3/4 got jammed in a way that they were stuck to my ear. I’ve pierced my ears before and I let them close and decided to re pierce them since I got my nose professionally pierced recently. and honestly shoving a starter piercing through my ears 6 times with just my hands was definitely less painful than trying to get the blue thing off your ear. I’d recommend just going somewhere with a gun, if you wanna do it yourself just order piercing needles and titanium jewelry this is too roughUPDATE; the jewelry has been irritating my ears so bad I had to switch them to titanium flat backs within a week. don’t buy these no matter the circumstances, so so painful. In fitting fashion for these the actual earrings got stuck to my ears like the guns and I had to use tweezers and broke two nails getting them off. I was sobbing and panicking. never should’ve bought these ones.
