This is a sturdy bed for a teenage bedroom. It took me (Mom) and my 16 year old daughter 3 hours to assemble and we had a lot of fun doing it. A couple of times along the way we had to undo a stage because we hadn't paid full attention to detail in the assembly instructions, so be prepared! Overall, very happy with the finished product.

The bed itself was horrible the staircase is attached so is a safety hazard for my child to go up. Seeing as the bed almost fell on him and he is a 5 year old that doesn't even have the strength to hold on to the bed much less should he be able to flip it. Once built the bed is flimsy. I tried to refund and it was a mess, unorganized and not helpful at all. They wouldn't refund the bed unless I paid for shipping that cost more than the bed itself. In short my child is sleeping on the floor until I get a better bed, am out of money and I have this safety hazard in my living room.

The wall mounts do not fit well if you have baseboards. The screws get loose when climbing up and down the ladder and what starts out to be a secure bed, becomes a bit wobbly. We had to get longer screws and so far have worked.

don't buy it!!! this loft bed sounds worse than a rattle, even when i walk it make sounds. I feel sooooo!!!! disappointed and waste of money for purchasing this loft bed, my daughter doesn't sleep on it because even when she moves makes sounds. The only thing is useful is the desk.

I would like it if were sturdier, my daughter is a little monkey.

Instructions are awful and they don’t tell you barely anything so be prepared to put a few pieces in backwards and have to redo it. Bed is pretty sturdy but I added two metal straps to the wall anchored into the drywall with very heavy duty anchors. The bed is now anchored to my house and won’t budge A BIT.
